The hotel is beneath a church near the center of town, it's absolute selling point is the view out to sea and on the mountain that dominates Ischia. They have a breakfast terrace that makes for the best start of the day you can wish for. Breakfast by the way is very simple, but perhaps the best we had all week. Just some fresh bread, fruitjuices, yoghurt etc., basic but all fresh produce what appears to be the weak point in the otherwise exquisite Italian eating traditions.
Service is very friendly and personal, f.i. they warned us in time that the Giro was coming tot Ischia on our departure day making it impossible to get back to Ischia for the ferry and so we were able to get tickets for one of the few boats that depart from Forio harbour.
Big minus: they forgot the baby cot we requested so we had to take our toddler with us in bed the first night, not such a good night obviously. It's not like I want my money back or anything, but as a hotel you should at least arrange a bottle of wine or something, just a sign to acknowledge the inconvenience caused.
Rooms are simple but clean, all in all good price/quality.
