This place is nothing short of amazing. We were fortunate to be there before the summer crowds, in May 2014 - we went on a weekday and almost had the park to ourselves. The sauna is unbelievable - a cave in the side of the mountain with the super heated water flowing into the room. Then you can watch the water cascade through the park, like a stream, to fill all of the various pools - so unlike any other experience, anywhere. One of our favorite pools was the one with a bench area and bubble jets all around. The park has its own private beach too, much less crowded than the other beaches in the area, where you can cool off - and then start all over again. FYI - you will need a swim cap, which is required by the park. Be sure to either bring your own, or prepare to purchase one at the park. There is a lovely cafe where you can buy lunch and sit on the patio overlooking the park; and near the beach, there is another cafe where you can get a drink (everything from coffee to cocktails), a gelato, or a treat like tiramisu or a fruit tart. My adult daughter's comment at the end of our day there: 'I'd like to repeat today five more times'. Yes, it's that good.
