“The best rest in a pool”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

Spent the second half of a day walking from pool to pool with different temperatures. Relaxed completely and enjoyed. when rain strarted we moved into the covered pool. Also tested famous "rome-baba" in one of the restorants. As we undersood it is not allowed to visit with small children. But adults will get a lot of pleasure in termal waters.

“A water park for grownups”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

This place is nothing short of amazing. We were fortunate to be there before the summer crowds, in May 2014 - we went on a weekday and almost had the park to ourselves. The sauna is unbelievable - a cave in the side of the mountain with the super heated water flowing into the room. Then you can watch the water cascade through the park, like a stream, to fill all of the various pools - so unlike any other experience, anywhere. One of our favorite pools was the one with a bench area and bubble jets all around. The park has its own private beach too, much less crowded than the other beaches in the area, where you can cool off - and then start all over again. FYI - you will need a swim cap, which is required by the park. Be sure to either bring your own, or prepare to purchase one at the park. There is a lovely cafe where you can buy lunch and sit on the patio overlooking the park; and near the beach, there is another cafe where you can get a drink (everything from coffee to cocktails), a gelato, or a treat like tiramisu or a fruit tart. My adult daughter's comment at the end of our day there: 'I'd like to repeat today five more times'. Yes, it's that good.

“Had a great time!”
Reviewed 5 June 2014 via mobile

We had a very great day here. It's where we spent our whole time in Ischia. Poseidon is a little far from the main port and on the expensive side, but we found it to be worth it. There were so many pools and the food was great. The beach was good too! The landscaping was amazing, as was the whole beautiful environment around the place. We got pretty good massages in the "medical center" and the staff was really agreeable and helpful all around. This place seems to be more for German and Italian (duh) clientele. We needed to use the little German we knew at one point! Overall it was great and we would return.

“Heaven on earth”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

This is a blissful spot--22 thermal pools, with water ranging from cool at the bottom, increasing in temperature as you walk up the levels. Waterfalls with warm thermal waters pour out of alcoves, where you can sit and enjoy the warm water cascading over your shoulders, easing away tension. You can sit in a warm thermal pool and take in the spectacular view of the bay of Citara--such relaxation! There's a sandy beach area at the bottom, with chairs to sit along the bay. The gardens are landscaped with the largest, most beautiful roses I've ever seen. We arrived late, after 1:00, and paid the half-day rate, but I wish we'd arrived earlier so we could have enjoyed the entire day here. It's an idyllic place, and one of the main highlights of our week on the Amalfi coast.

“La dolce vita”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

Warm pools with different temperatures, streams, real cave steam sauna, beautiful surroundings, clean environment and restaurants. Located et the end of the Citara-beach it's really worth the 10 minutes walk from the bus stop. Dramatic setting and views - especially from the pools on the hillside. You can easily spend the whole day here but two-three hours will make you feel reborn just as well.
