The staff was wonderful at this great hotel. It had a wonderful spa. I did not have any of the mud treatments as I arrived late on Saturday and did not have time to get a medical screening. So I stuck to a massage (if you are a female, be aware they will massage your chest region, so if this makes you uncomfortable be sure to tell them beforehand to avoid any awkwardness. They also give a stomach massage and some people find this uncomfortable so again be prepared to tell your therapist upfront.) The spa had two pools one inside another on the roof. This hotel does not have the same views you can get from other hotels in Ischia, it is also a little further from the sites, however if you want to just chill at the hotel and spa, this is the perfect place. Loved dinner at the Michelin two star restaurant, though the only draw back was having to wear a bathing suit the next day as I ate so much! I reccommend this hotel as a single spa getaway or for a girl's or couples weekend. I would not bring my friends with small children as though the staff is very accommodating many people go to the hotel to relax and small children may not be able to respect the spa-like environment. Overall it was a great relaxing experience with great food and excellent service.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the inside so you are not dealing with exterior traffic noise.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with extremely friendly personnel. Nino di Costanzo and his Two Michelin stars Il Mosaico restaurant is beyond any estimationes. Capo di recevimento Luca Renna is highly professional and will find the way in any situation. Feel like home. Will come back as soon as possible.

Amazing experience with my family at Terme Manzi. Staff is outstanding. So kind! The rooms are very good also: clean, good size, good bed, nice decor. The only little problem is the accustic between the rooms: you listen people talking in the room next.
The spa area is amazing: pool, sauna, everything!

Must say, , before anything else, that I'm truly hard pressed to find proper words to describe the warmth and impeccable elegance of the staff. Manager Beatriz and owner Maria Polito run an as impeccable of a ship as it is humanly possible, and for that they work hours that are quite incomprehensible for the mortal soul. Neusa Graca is such beautiful perfection at the guest services that it would take me an entire chapter to begin to convey it. The food, thanks to obsessive perfectionists chefs Nino di Constanza and pastry chef Antonino Maresca, includes the grand Il Mosaico, a 2 Michelin stars quickly galloping towards the 3rd and the very romantic Gli Ulivi, a more casual, but not less delicious outdoor restaurant (don't forget the kitchen and chefs are the same :-)). Their staff is perfection, led by the irresistibly sweet Luigi, whom anyone with a heart will not only fall in love with, but also want to bring home. And the very handsome yet very shy Gianpaolo, who provided me with the bonus entertainment of watching the ladies melt over as he turns every shade of red in the Ferrari paint factory. The spa has the most beautiful thermal indoor pool, and that is in addition to the actual outdoor pool, where one can sip one of the best Rossinis I ever tried, made by an Italian impeccably mannered bartender, Carmine, one of those people whose elegance starts in the soul and pours out in what i believe a Lord should be. Or Eugenio, whose kindness and warmth are only rivaled by the precision and elegance with which he debones a Pesce al Sale. One may find my review too detailed, with all names, but it is because, after spending a couple of weeks here in 2011 with my husband, we were so impressed with the staff and food, in the summer of 2013 I chose it as my healthy luxury cocoon to recover from a surgery, and here I am, to spend almost 2 months (one of which has passed and I am more impressed today with the Manzi than I even was 2 years ago, smtg I thought impossible). So, In this last month, being that I am very much only in the hotel, I couldn't help but observe very closely the actual routine of the staff, and realize the amount of love they pour into the way they perform their jobs and of course, feel very connected to them and consider them as friends. But this review is very much honest and heartfelt. Between the food, including breakfast with perfect figs from their own property, the spa and the genuine care and love of the entire staff, I could not have chosen a better place to heal. Shall forever owe Manzi to nurture me back to health on every single sense of that word. And what a debt that is. My very heartfelt Grazie a Tutti. If you ever have a chance to visit this place, grab it by the horns and come with eyes closed.

We have just returned from our latest trip to the beautiful island of Ischia where we stayed for the first time at the Terme Manzi Hotel. The hotel is set back in the foothills away from the noisy coastal road and is a haven for those seeking a peaceful stay on this popular but busy island.
Having stayed in top hotels throughout the world, this ranks as No.1 for service, friendliness & dining. Indeed it is difficult to imagine a better gourmet experience than that provided by 2 star Michelin Chef Nino in his "Il Mosiac" restaurant.
Angelika was 2007 Germany's best hobby cook so was totally thrilled, as was I, with the unique chance of observing Nino & his team prepare and serve the wonderful & inspired menus he has to offer. We booked the Chef's Table and saw first hand Nino's team at work - an opportunity not to be missed!!
All the staff were were exceedingly helpful at all times, with Taras, Jean Paul & Luigi deserving special thanks for their great service in the bar & dining room together Rossella and her team in reception.
We will certainly be here again to repeat this magnificent experience and have no hesitation in highly recommending this great hotel to others seeking the best of Italian hospitality!!

Compared to a 5-star hotel in major cities like NYC, Paris, or LA, this isn't a 5-star, but it still a great hotel. The rooms are perfectly designed with all the amenities needed. The decor in the lobby is super eccentric, but the design throughout the rest of the hotel remains you of visiting an ancient Roman bath house which is really cool .The views of the sea from the hotel are non-existence except from the rooftop, but it has great views of the green mountain. One tip -- if you want to go to the chairs reserved at a public beach, book the day before. In fact, most activities here require a day-advanced booking, which was a little annoying. Also, it took about 2 hrs for the bellhop to deliver our bags. The breakfast has a wide range of options, and the two other restaurants, including the 2 star Il Mosaic are fabulous.
