The wine was local and good, the zucchini was grown by the owner, and the service was personalized. A nice surprise and a tasty one .

Tucked up in the hills of Lacco Ameno is this intimate restaurant with marvelous views! I loved the journey up the path to this beloved restaurant--lined with pretty Italian Villas and bountiful deep pink bougainvilla that spill onto the path... It is an exquisite spot for a quiet dinner in a garden setting with unforgettable views and the very best beef on the island. You will adore Giani and Samual, the owners and chefs, as well as every aperitif, lunch and dinner that you share with friends and family there.
Samuel and his dad are very hospitable and we had a very nice lunch here. Food was quite good and lots of locals here
Unfortunately we only discovered this place on out last evening - the "home" picture on trip advisor doesn't do this place justice.
Situated up a short hill and quite well hidden - you have to search it out, we were Greeted by a charismatic Samuel. We sat looking over the magnificent view across to the mainland. The restaurant itself is simply decorated which fits perfectly with its surroundings. The menu is limited but excellent - if you want fish you need to order it in the morning as it is caught and served that day. Otherwise BBQ and grilled meats, pastas etc and salads. All really expertly cooked and presented - my pasta dish was created "off menu" with selected ingredients that I just fancied!!
It is a real jewel of the island - I just wish we had found it earlier - do not miss this restaurant - it was the best food we had all week.
Amazing setting, Amazing food, everything aas perfect.
The owner and his son, Samuel, really made us feel like at home, something we aren't going to forget soon! :)
I especially enjoyed the meat, and pasta was perfect too... What else to say?
