We visited the Castle during our recent holiday on Ischia and it was well worth the walk on a very hot day. The lift to the top is a little odd but is worth it and the view when you walk out is fantastic.Cost wise very reasonable , good leaflet with all the information you need and well sign posted. Every where you look there are stunning terraces with amazing views , lovely paths amongst the gardens, very welcome its warm. The cafe again has amazing views serves excellent food and a very welcome cold beer! There are plenty of rooms to visit , some a bit creepy and the torture museum was wierd but quite compelling. Pleasant , cool walk down as an altenative to the lift. All in all a very worth while , interesting , value for money day out with some of the lovliest views on the island.
