“Wonderful day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 October 2013

We visited the Castle during our recent holiday on Ischia and it was well worth the walk on a very hot day. The lift to the top is a little odd but is worth it and the view when you walk out is fantastic.Cost wise very reasonable , good leaflet with all the information you need and well sign posted. Every where you look there are stunning terraces with amazing views , lovely paths amongst the gardens, very welcome its warm. The cafe again has amazing views serves excellent food and a very welcome cold beer! There are plenty of rooms to visit , some a bit creepy and the torture museum was wierd but quite compelling. Pleasant , cool walk down as an altenative to the lift. All in all a very worth while , interesting , value for money day out with some of the lovliest views on the island.

Well sign posted and well laid out. The leaflet that guides you around the castle gives lots of detail. Great views from the top.

“A good day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 October 2013

We spent quite a few hours here wandering about the castle and the grounds. The lift up to the top is a godsend, I wouldn't fancy climbing all the way up. The views from the castle are magnificent and I particularly enjoyed the torture museum, definitely worth a visit.

“Incredible Place - Top Attraction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2013

Spent half a day in the castle and found it very interesting. Ancient torture chambers, weapons, nuns cemetery, crypts galore…great fun. There is an elevator or lift which takes you almost to the top and there are stunning views everywhere. More than twenty rooms to visit. Well worth it.

“Stunning views of Ischia”

Very informative, found the nuns crypt fascinating and the gardens and views were stunning. Quite expensive at 10 euro per person but worth as we spent about 2 1/2 hours here.
