This is the perfect spot if you want to visit Pompei and Herculanium. The owner, Bruna and her husband were very helpful and explained everything about the area and how to get there, complete with maps and books. They also told us about Villa Oplontis which was once Nero's wife's. and is just a walk away from the B+B, and well worth going to. We enjoyed it as much as Pompei, very quiet and no one else there. If not for the advise of Brunas husband we would have missed this. The room (in fact it was two rooms) was huge in an old villa on the town square, it was clean and we had the use of a fully equipped kitchen. The overall condition was slightly worn around the edges. Recommended if you are visiting the ruins.

We forgot to undo our previous booking in Pompeii, when I found this spot on Tripadvisor, as I hoped to have breakfast in a nice garden...
So we stayed our first night in Pompeii, then 2 in Torre Annunciata and finaly one in Nocelle on the Amalficoast. Torre Annunciata is an excellent base for excursions to Naples, Hercaluneum, Oplonti, Pompeii and even the Amalfi, especially when travelling without car (we didn`t use ours during our stay here). Bruna and Aldo are really nice and full with ideas and nice attentions. With their friendlyness they compensate fully the many things witch they are still working on;
thruth: wifi works not always, the italian breakfast ist really basic, the decoration and furniture also, the garden needs renovation and from the piazza comes a lot of noise.
But: overlooking the piazza from your room, you are in the middle of a real napolitan suburb (central in the middle of the many things to do) very friendly italians in the streets and shops and a good and cheap pizza restaurant with nice terrace overlooking the mediteranee. And when you ask Bruna; she will do anything to help.
On sugestion of Aldo, we go by train to the Hercaluneum in the morning, followed by a very good lunch ("Lombardi", at piazza Cavour)in Naples (easy with train and metro), afterwards we walked to the archeological museum and walking back trough a nice part of the old city (passing several churches) to the trainstation at piazza Garibaldi. We bought in Naples a nice bottle of wine, bread, proscuito and salami to have a nice "dinner" at "home" in Torre Annunciata. We felt really at home with Bruna and Aldo; they do a lot to please you, and much more than you can expect. The "mama" (talking only Italian, was the one who waved us out the last morning, and of course was also very friendly and nice.
This friendlyness is the true treasure of this spot.
Next time I would do it differently: even Pompeii (with its main entrance!) is easy to reach (trains are really cheap) from Torre Annunciata. Ask Bruna for the artecard! And Aldo`s idea of visiting the Amalfi by train and boat sounds really good, as it cost you lots of time to drive with a car along the Amalficoast. We must come back!
ps. don`t forget to visit Oplonti! Just "2 blocks" away, a really big wealty and nice roman villa with an "olympic swimmingpool; ones belonging to the wife of Nero (?).

We had a wonderful time in all aspects: the B&B itself is spacious and beautiful (there is an actual garden!). The family was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and helpful, and very proud of their town and establishment. They treated us incredibly well and I only wish we could return the favor by taking care of them if they were to visit the states. The location is great, as long as you know what you want. It's right off the circumvesuviana commuter train (a couple of stops from Pompeii) which will take you anywhere in the Naples area. It's not a touristy town at all, but this was part of the reason we had wanted to stay there. You definitely have a different interaction with people in a town that isn't completely flooded with outsiders on a regular basis. Torre Anunziata is a less than picture perfect, but typical Naples-area town. It was just what we were hoping for. And yes, Oplontis is a beautiful, well-preserved, and underappreciated site that is well worth the visit. Thank you Aldo, Bruna, Tonia, and Angelo!

We spent 4 nights here and had a very memorable time. Thank you Bruna and Aldo for making me and my son very welcome and spending time explaining our sightseeing and logistical options - and just generally making sure we had a good time.
Not an obvious place to stay, but is perfectly located for Naples and all the archaeological sites - as well the Amalfi coast. It is also excellent value for money.
The rooms are very large and there is ample space with beautiful spots to sit outside.
Thank you for the yummy lemonchella and to Angelo Maria for keeping us entertained!!
Will definately return. We highly recommend this little gem.

A nice place. We stayed in the second week of June, for 2 nights, using the B&B as base for our excursions. The room was simple but comfortable. A drawback was the heat, which the fan did somewhat alleviate. The room faces east and the morning sun is fierce. The breakfast was sub par: no fruit or cheese or breads to speak of. The bathroom was Ok. The owners made some good restaurant recommendations. The garden is beautiful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Bruna, Aldo, Tonia and Angelo Maria. True, the town is not a tourist trap, but it does have Oplonti, the Villa de Poppea. We should have visited there first! What an amazing place.

But I digress, this is supposed to be about the B and B. My husband and I and the two boys(2 and 5) stayed with them for 5 nights. What accommodating and welcoming hosts!

As we turned the corner into the plaza ( a short walk from the Circumvesuviana train station), the exterior of the building stood out like a beautiful gem in an otherwise run down city. And there was Aldo, calling out to us from the balcony surrounded by the colors of Pompeii- red and golden yellow. As we approached the door. I could hear Bruna saying "here I am" as she rushed up the hall to greet us.

Bruna showed us around and then Aldo sat with us to describe the sites and best options for touring. They did nice things like offering their homemade lemoncello in the freezer and making sure we had a taxi to the airport. And this was not just on day one. They were a part of every day. They cooked for us on the holiday because all the restaurants were closed. They also found out where my husband could get a gluten free pizza in town. Our boys played together daily. My family felt truly embraced by theirs. We will never forget them.

Highly recommended.
