How to describe Hotel Garden? It's strange. The setup was very odd, it appeared to be a converted apartment with several rooms inside. The walls were very thin and it was a bit inconvenient to get in and out of. They do have a cleaning staff and free internet access during front desk business hours. We did travel during the off season and I will have to say I don't recommend Levanto during the fall and winter. It's much like a deserted beach town with nothing at all to do and not much open as far as wine bars or restaurants. I would stay at the Hotel Garden again, but I highly doubt I will find myself in Levanto ever again. In peak season, I could see it as a nice place to stay and near (NOT on as advertised) near the beach. The price was okay, but the room was very small and didn't offer much as far as value. You cannot, however, leave the Cinque Terre walk off of your agenda, it is unlike anything I've ever seen.
