WONDERFUL location & warm hospitality!

B&B Trullo Casa Rosa is exactly what previous travellers have reviewed, maybe even more. A perfect relaxing place, very elegant and clean, with special attention to every single detail, delicious large breakfafsts, a real comfortable extra-kingsize bed with pillow-menu (very rare in other B&B we've stayed before) and luxury linen. The owner Donatella is a pearl: a highly educated Lady, always smiling, available and relaxed, full of positive energy and generous in giving useful tips for special sightseeings. Not to speak about her special well-cared food. During our 6 days stay we also took the chance to attend to her delightful cookery classes: we had much fun together and learnt something special about tasteful veg dishes seasoned with fresh herbs from her lushy gardens. An experience we'd like to repeat & share with our friends in future.
Date of stay: July 2015
Room Tip: This B&B offers a full exclusive apartment-trullo for a couple, with independent entrance...

Our stay at Trullo Casa Rosa was a ten in every way!
The close-to-town country setting was peaceful and beautifully picturesque (especially the courtyard).
We were excited to stay in an authentic trullo. It was modernized just where necessary (such as a lovely bathroom) to preserve the historic experience. The Trullo was immaculate, the bed very comfortable, the furnishings inviting.
Everything that Donatella prepared for us, was really delicious in taste and presentation. Homemade goodies graced our table every day.
All our needs were met and exceeded!
Donatella and Antonio are wonderful hosts with a genuine warmth.
We now treasure their friendship.

Many thanks again to Donatella and Antonio for a wonderfully relaxing stay with them who are more friends than just b & B owners. I last stayed here 3 years ago when in the area on business for an extended period and have finally got around to returning, this time with my wife. She loved it from the moment we arrived and now she too is a member of the D & A fan club. The trullo is very charming and Donatellas food is just as good as ever. Do not miss having a few nights here if you get the opportunity, you will not regret it and you will receive the warmest welcome ever.

For our first visit to the Puglia region my friend and I really wanted our vacation to be an adventure so we decided to stay at Trullo Casa Rosa. What a fantastic surprise our stay here turned out to be! The gracious owners Donatella and Antonio greeted us upon our arrival with a warm and welcoming smile, and they felt like good friends immediately. They welcomed us with a passion and genuine enthusiasm that made us feel that our happiness and comfort were all they cared about. Their 200 year old Trullo, which they lovingly restored, is tastefully decorated with attention to every detail…a perfect marriage of the old and new. With its conical ceiling and white limestone interior you really feel that you have gone back in time to a magical place. The quiet solitude makes you feel at once calm, safe and at home.

To make our stay even more wonderful, each day our kitchen was filled with delicious delights of Donatella’s homemade cheeses, their own organically grown olive oil and nuts, jams and yummy baked goods. There was more than enough for two meals. My friend mentioned in passing that she has some food allergies and Donatella returned later with soy milk, special lactose free cheese and gluten free baked goods. We got the feeling very quickly that there isn’t anything this woman can’t do!

Alberobello is a serene and gorgeous countryside abundant with olive trees, ripening grapevines and bright, beautiful flowers. It transports you back to the Italy one doesn’t get to experience in the big touristy cities. There is a quaint tourist area very close by where you can explore the narrow streets and take amazing photos of the Trulli. Here you can buy some interesting things made by local artisans.

We are so happy to have met Donatella and Antonio and to have experienced a perfect time at their lovely Trullo. They have a passion for making sure that the people who are lucky enough to come to Trullo Casa Rosa have an experience that will stay with them forever.
If you are looking for a truly unique Italian experience unlike any other we highly recommend that you stay with Donatella and Antonio at Trullo Casa Rosa…you will not be disappointed.

We had read great reviews of Trullo Casa Rosa and its wonderful hosts Donatella and Antonio and were not disappointed when we arrived in Alberobello late one September afternoon. Donatella was there to meet us at the pre-arranged spot and after a warm welcome she guided us to her lovely Trullo. That night we were treated to a fantastic meal cooked by Donatella washed down by some lovely local wine specially selected to compliment her cooking. What a fabulous introduction to Puglia!

From there our stay in Alberobello only got better as Donatella and Antonio could not do enough for us from booking restaurants, providing little treats and advising on the best places to visit in the area. They are a font of Puglia knowledge.

We can not recommend Trullo Casa Rosa more highly. Visit and enjoy one very special destination and two absolutely wonderful hosts.
