Had a great meal here the other night with my wife and son.Wouldn't have expected what hides behind the outside hedge!!!
It's worth booking as it's always full, mainly with local Italians. Antipasti starter is a must, good quality food and not expensive

We went as three adult couples whilst holidaying in the area. The restaurant was full, with a mix of visitors as well as locals, and the atmosphere was buzzing. Our waiter, who had worked in London for many years, spoke excellent english and helped us with our choices. My husband shared the antipasti with his daughter and the courses just kept on coming - a real wow. I and another member of our party had the melon with parma ham - delicious and the ham is so very different from the plastic version which is sold in the supermarkets in the UK. I then chose the veal fillet which was amazing, whilst other members, had the lamb, pizzas or steak. All very good (apart from the steak which had been 'drowned' in a pepper sauce) and generous portions . A 'definite one' to recommend. We would certainly return if we were lucky enough to be in the area again.

Its a bit difficult to find. It is out of the main centre of the town near the sports stadium and its worth persevering to find it.
A big restaurant in terms of the numbers it can seat. Clearly local extended families and friends meet there to share traditional, wholesome, unpretentious Italian food at a reasonable price in a convivial atmosphere. Service and food both very good and although busy, you never felt under pressure to eat up and leave. Would definitely go again.

Great food and like others the antipasta de la casa is an unbelievable starter. Pizza and Pasta dishes are wonderful for families and very good value. could not fault this place and will be going back there.

We ate here on our first night and enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere so much that we returned several times during our two week holiday. Simple food that tasted great - I'm addicted to the fave and cicoria! Vito was very charming and happy to explain all the dishes. The staff were all delightful. We are looking forward to returning.
