We stopped after visiting the Villa Romana and are happy we did. It is a big place, with indoor and outdoor seating with gardens and woods all around. Very pleasant. Lots of Italian families eating lunch on a Saturday so it was full of happy vibes. Attentive and quick service. We had two delicious pasta dishes and expresso with canoli for dessert. Really terrific and some of the best "simple" food we ate. It was a real treat. Go.

Good stop after seeing the lovely casale. This is a fairly plain place, but has both inside and outside dining. We had good pasta and the service was friendly.

It's a pleasant spot to eat at if you're visiting the Roman Villa. Very speedy service. Our lamb was of good quality and was served within 5 minutes, perhaps already cooked before we arrived? It was very tasty , but just a little dry. Pleasant wine by the carafe. Speedy service.

A perfect place to have lunch in the countryside. We sat outside on the covered patio surrounded by plants sharing pastas and vegetable dishes, drinking wine and relaxing after the drive from Agrigento and the anticipation of visiting Villa Romana. It’s easy to find – it’s on the road towards Villa Romana.

This restaurant is on the approach road to the Villa Romana del Casale, on the left just after you round the first bend, some way before the entrance to the Villa, and after the rather touristy place just on the junction as you turn off towards the Villa. We had lunch after our visit to the Villa (which is stunning) and enjoyed a very tasty meal, beautifully prepared and cooked, in this family run restaurant, surrounded by woods and sunshine. We were the only foreigners - the other customers were Italian, which we have found means we are in the right place for good food. There is a cafe at the Villa but its resources are very stretched with all the coaches, so if you want to sit down and enjoy a civilised meal, this is the place.
