“Beautiful but a little expensive”
Reviewed 3 July 2013

Free car parking and standard entrance price of EUR 8.-- which I found rather expensive. The marmelade which is regionally produced is delicious and costs only EUR 3.--.

“short holdiay”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

Nice to visit but I thought that I was going to spend alot of time here and walk along the river alot. Only small area can go around as lots of ropes are tied so not to go beyond it. Was a bit surprised! But stillnice to visit

“A great way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed 25 June 2013

A botanical garden...whose main attraction is the river flowing and cutting its way through a lava outflow from Etna, resulting in unique and very interesting rock formations. The wild flowers growing on the rock faces are also very beautiful. One or two of the "balconies" where one can have a look into the ravine are unfortunately a little too far from the edge and so are a little disappointing but all in all well worth a trip.

“A revigorating cannyon river swimm”
Reviewed 20 June 2013

Do not miss Gole Acantara if you visit Sicily and Taormina or Catania region. A swimm in the fresh water will certainly do you good. And the view is really nice.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 4 June 2013

Icy cold, and abit out of the way, however this place is worth a visit for a couple of hours. Bring a beach towel and there is an entrance fee that is to be paid.
