“A pretty triangular piazza”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

A pretty triangular piazza with the church at the top of the triangle.
Many shops and restaurants line each side. The bread and pastry shops are to die for.

“Love this triangle.”
Reviewed 7 October 2013

Lovely square that is shaped like a triangle. It is has lots of restaurants, shops and cured meat stores. Nice quick stop for lunch and on market days, shopping. A famous cured meat store 'Antica Macelleria Falorni' is situated here.

“Small, Quaint Piazza”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

This piazza isn't too big but it's still very good. If you are looking for souvenirs keep in mind most of the stores close at 730p (or at least they did on the days we were there in September). Obviously you will find plenty of selection for Chianti souvenirs such as things with Gallo Nero (The black rooster). There are a few leather shops and one or two high end clothing shops, plus and assortment of tourist shops, restaurants, and gelato. Like most piazzas in Italy, you will enjoy sitting down, taking it all in, and people watching. Parking in the piazza can be tough, but there is a parking structure about a block or so away with free parking.

“Good for Quick Stop”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

We had high expectations of the place after having read several reviews, and we kind of disappointed when we saw the place. Compared to the other towns we have visited in Tuscany, we found the place to be not so interesting. Probably good for a quick stop only if its along the way to other towns or cities.

“Love this place”
Reviewed 23 July 2013

We visit Italy often and love coming to this square for first timers you can spend 1/2 a day here especially on market days. Food is not cheap if you sit down to eat and there are plenty of eating spots not far from town in either direction. A must see is the Antica Macelleria Falorni even if you are a vegetarian it is fascinating with superb selection of meats and cheeses.
