“Eats in Chianti”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 June 2014

I live in the area so I have eaten plenty of T-bones and beans but this was one of the best overall. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, served with excellent 'solfini' beans (per Tuscan tradition, no french fries please!) and accompanied by a superb Chianti Classico (classico is a must for steaks this size) from a nearby farm 'La Presura'.
If you are vacationing in Impruneta, Greve, or Strada, or if you are just driving around, this is an excellent place to have a good Tuscan steak.

“A great meal at great price!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2013

Took some friends and we ate so much and so good for just 100 euros with four people. I have to say we followed the advise of our waiter. Franco the owner came by and really had a great talk with him. I had the best Pasta with fish ragu, and then some great Melanzane alla Parmigiana. They served me coffee with great small pastry!! The wine suggested from the staff was good without spending a fortune.
Just 20 min from the center takes you in some of the best scenery roads of the Chianti.
In the summer you get the nice terrace outside
Inside is a little 70's style so don't expect fancy interior..... just enjoy the good food!!

“Nice little restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2012 via mobile

We found this restaurant as recommended in tripadvisor and we can confirm everything people were saying.
The first dishes were excellent (homemade pasta). Chiant clasico they serve also very good. We ate beef stew and it was flawless - very tender meat spiced just right. The only small thing is a relatively limited choice of side dishes but that is something we found all over Toscany.

“The best of all restaurants we ate at over 2 weeks in Italy.”

Fantastic food, great prices and we had a wonderful waiter. There is nothing more to say, except if you are in the area, this is the best place to eat.
