We looked at all of the restaurants around the Square and opted for this one, and ended up being very surprised. We chose to sit outside as there is a view of the Square from the balcony and it was a hot evening.

The service was excellent and the staff very helpful in helping us select a red wine. We chose La Regge Chianti Classic 2008 a very good companion for the food we were about to order. We will not exaggerate when we say that our food and wine arrived on the table within 5 minutes of ordering. That is the fastest service we ever had in the whole of Italy! The food was cooked to perfection and was mouthwatering - Chianina Stew with Pepper, Chianina sliced Beef and Duck & Pork served with potatoes roasted in fennel and garlic. The bread basket included deep fried balls of bread which we had never experienced before, and was very hot & tasty. We had a generous glass of Amaretto to finish off + coffee and the bill was very reasonable considering the quality of food. We recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Greve. If we had known before we planned our trip that this place had accommodation, we would have booked it!

This hotel was only a short stop for us so we only had part of the experience. The staff were very nice and the rooms were great. Medium size bathrooms, kind of strange. No internet in the rooms but it was free. They're trying to save energy so the hall lights turn on automatically as soon as you step out of your room. Amazing restaurant! The food was incredible, excellent view over the square. Good breakfast buffet. If you stay on a friday night you wake up to a sea of tents in the square for market day. That's a great experience in itself. All in all it was a very pleasant stay.

Unfriendly staff, restaurant was very good, rooms are adequate but very noisy. Breakfast included and very simple. Very convenient to Chianti region but there are better options in the area.

This hotel had been recommended to us as a truly Tuscan Albergo and I can say we were not disappointed. The food was exquisite- I have never tasted a more delicious minestrone and the secondi piatti were truly heavenly! The service was efficient and friendly without being invasive. most nights we sat outside on the terrazzo but the ambience inside is also convivial. For an experience of Italian hospitality we thought this one was by far the best.

Room Tip: Our room overlooked the beautiful piazza.

We got stuck in this small hotel in Chianti. Lousy breakfast. Too many stairs to climb with luggage. No help. Indifferent staff. Noisy room. We needed a place to stay close to Dario Ceccini's place in Panzano in Chianti which was supposedly the best place to eat bistecca fiorentina.

Travelling with teenage kids so had 2 rooms both of which were very clean and a good size. Beautifully decorated with Tuscan charm.

Restaurant down stairs which was convenient and food including breakfast was very nice although could hear the staff singing as they cleaned up at the end of the night at 11pm.

Family running the hotel were lovely and very helpful.
