Reviewed 28 July 2014

As a couple we were looking for a nice winefarm to sleep in for a night and have a cooking class. The place is a little rustic with an excellent location and a nice scenery. The cooking class was ok, but not anything special. We made typical tuscan food, but nothing we could see in a book or at youtube.

A so called Agriturismo. Nice location, though somewhat close to the main road. A winery which produces great value for money wines. Red and white, Cianti Classico Riserva and its topper a Rosso Toscane. Small and charming restaurant next to the kitchen. Great simple Tuscan, delicious food. By chance we could listen to a great three musicians classical concert on a Saturday evening a with a nice buffet before the open air concert. Great ambiance.
However, alongside the pool over three quarters of the seats and beds are broken, unusuable for sitting. And no comfortable chairs either on the terrace in between te two buildings. On a couple of chairs even the cusshions are missing. It is as if no attention is being paid to details.

Room Tip: The best rooms, and a view, are on the first floor, upstairs.

Maybe it's just me but when we booked this place it said it had a restaurant, sorry no food here.
Set in a beautiful location, but if you don't have a car it's a bit of a problem. The closest food is in Greve about a 8 min ride by car, you'll need to order a taxi as you can't just hail one in or out of town, the bus stop is about a 10 min walk with an hourly service with last bus from Greve at 8.20 pm also forget about walking way too steep and dangerous. If you buy bus tickets in Greve they cost 1.30 Euro's or 2 Euros on the bus, Taxi is 50 Euro's. The rooms are dated, hard uncomfortable bed 1 spare pillow and in true Italian form no Tea or Coffee making facilities and constant wifi drop outs. The staff were helpful but not so friendly.

We had a great time here with our family and our friends family. Even though it was the off season the scenery was still beautiful. The rooms were huge the showers were hot and the weather was perfect. This was our first time in Italy and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Irene was a great host and her cooking class was fun and entertaining for us and the kids. When we came home we made the same meal for our parents and they were delighted with the meal we prepared. The wine was delicious and the saffron was even better. This is one of Greve's best kept secrets in the Chianti region. We will definately stay here a again.

We stayed here in June 2013 and had 5 nights here. Elena and other staff provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome, The scenery around the villa is just beautiful and enjoyed sitting in the garden. We were fortunate to get a cooking lesson and had a wonderful time cooking and drinking the wine. Accomodation was lovely and the price very reasonable.

My friend and i were touring around Tuscany and chose to stay on this Winery in the Chianti region. It has the added bonus of a pool a welcome relief from the heat.
We enjoyed a wine tasting with Elena who was really helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to provide some lunch and we ended up having another helping later.
The owner brought us a large glass to try of his red whilst we were eating outside and their Prosecco is really excellent.
Lovely big quiet and clean rooms
My only regret is that we could only stay one night. I would definitely stay here again

We happened upon this little place on our way to try and find a wine tour in Chianti, saw their sign and went in. The atmosphere was pure Toscana. We chose to take the tour as it was private and we could be accomodated immediately. Elena was a great tour guide with tons of information to offer and great patience with our 10 year old son who had lots of questions. The tour was followed but a wine tasting and some small snacks, again Elena was great help. We unfortunately did not stay at the B&B but had a chance to look around and the place was simply charming and lovely! We were pretty much in agreement that we would definately stay here if and when we were in the Chianti area again. In places like this the charm is only supplemented to by the fantastic service. Thanks Elena for a great afternoon.
