From arriving, nothing was too much for the hotel and staff, they are the friendliest staff you could wish to meet without being over the top. all staff had a smile on their face all week which is a task and a half considering how busy they are to keep people happy.
Room was lovely, spotlessly clean, and bedding changed every day, for a Single room It was a bonus that I got a small veranda.
Room towels changed as often as you like, and a beach towel provided as well.
(Advice - take the hotel towel to the beach and then you don't get asked for your beach pass, if you take your own towel you will get asked)

I know some Brits are obsessed with food on holiday so heres a run down - skip this bit if you like ........
Food is excellent, with a good selection of both Italian and English style food and the staff are always on hand to tell you exactly what it is and always tempting you to try a little more. The buffet style food is a really good ideal as you can have as much or as little of what you like (I'm not a fish fan but got the chance to have Salmon, swordfish and Amberjack fish to try alongside the main course I chose)

Breakfast - menu didn't change throughout the week but there was so much to select from it didn't need to, Tea and any type of coffee, croissants, toast, cereals, fruit juice, fresh fruit, cheeses and cooked meats, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms beans - jams for the croissants and toast, you could have a different style of breakfast every day if you liked.

Dinner - So much selection that if you moan about the food - well your just sad!!!
the Italians do four courses, and there was sufficient to choose from if you wanted, salads, soups, cooked vegetable salads, and various other items through the week,
A plain pasta dish, a pasta and sauce dish and a pasta and meat dish every night (canneloni, bolognaise, carbanara etc)
There was always three meats or fish, with potatoes, (though the mashed potato was questionable) veg like green beans, broccoli, carrots, then chips onion rings, crockets, and a selection of speciality dishes, stuffed tomatoes, calamari, speciality pasta dishes.

In seriousness, if you complain about this food - stay in England and be boring! because its fantastic.
...............

lovely gardens, I saw the gardener daily, pool cleaned daily, and while is quite a small pool its adequate to get a swim in, the whole outside area is spotless, with pool, jacuzzi and gym area, and everything is straighted up at night.

Overall this hotel is fantastic, and I would stay here again.

only grumbles - and these are very very minor
No tea and coffee facilities in the room - but thats maybe because I don't really drink alcohol!
Only sky news and CNN in English on the TV, and reception not brilliant - but then who goes on holiday to watch TV!!
Wi-fi was intermittent in the room I was in, but excellent in the bar

"Lucky Lucky' men and women on the 'Private beach'! - Get used to hearing - 'Lucky Lucky' 'Very good price' and 'Massageeeee' every two minutes!!! - but thats not the hotels fault!

Room Tip: The front of the hotel is a little noisy and getting flashed by cameras all the time due to how pret...

we have just returned from 2 weeks in this hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size and the only grumble was there were no drawers for clothes. The beach is only 5 mins away and it is great that you are guaranteed a lounger , desk chair and umbrella.

From the moment we arrived it was obvious that this family run Hotel in the heart of Jesolo really cares about its guests. My wife arrived very early having left Manchester at 0630 and were met by Andrea who said he would get our room ready as soon as possible. About an hour later we were shown to our room on the first floor overlooking the main street. The room was a very good size and the balcony was a good size. The hotel itself is very clean and ALL the staff are there to make sure you enjoy your stay. They always smiled at you and were very helpful. The evening meals are 4 course affairs and every night there was a different menu. Starters, pasta, main course and sweet. First two courses were help yourself, main course was always served by Andrea and sweets were also individually served. The wine list was extensive and unfinished bottles carried over to the next day. Prices were what you would expect to pay in Italy. The bar area is large and once again prices are acceptable. One of the attractions of this hotel is that if you pay your bill in cash before leaving then they offer a 15% reduction which we took advantage of. Mention must be made of David(e) who comes on duty in the bar just before Lunch, changes at 1830 into suit and bow tie to assist with serving drinks at Dinner. Once he has finished that he is then back to his shorts and shirt and back in the bar until closing time. He does all of this with a smile on his face and a very cheerful disposition. The pool area is well maintained and clean with plenty of sun beds and tables to sit at. The pool itself whilst smallish never seemed crowded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to couples as well as families with older children. Must also add that the frontage of the hotel at night is probably the most photographed in Jesolo.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet nights sleep have a room toward the rear/side of the hotel.

We had a superior double room at front of hotel, very clean, only downside some noise as on roadside, at night closed to traffic. Same with pool some noise as backs on to a road though surrounded by hedge and lovely flowers. Went to the beach, hotel has allocated sunbeds etc, quieter, but get pestered by the sellers. Breakfast was ample, not a big choice, help yourself and the same for evening meals. David the waiter gave most excellent service with a smile and other staff were polite and friendly. If you want a lovely cup of tea or eats "The Friends Bar", five minutes walk from hotel, most welcoming and reasonably priced. Would we stay at The Milton again, yes, but only bed & breakfast, as there are many restaurants and bars along the strip to choose from.

We have just returned from this beautiful hotel where the staff are so friendly and really make you feel like a valued guest. The pool area is lovely, although the water was so very cold. On the other hand the jacuzzi was too hot! The bedroom we had was very quaint and a fair size as we had upgraded to a superior room. It overlooked the front of the hotel and the bar, but we weren't bothered by any noise due to the double glazing. Two unusual things in the bedroom - there was a mirror in the back of the wardrobe, but by the time clothes were hung in front it was useless! The free safe was in the wardrobe, but positioned so high that unless you were at least 6 feet tall you had to stand on a chair to reach it! Rather a hazard really especially as the only chair in the room was whicker!
The food was adequate and not a huge choice. Breakfast consisted of - croissants, toast, cereals, fruit, cheese, ham, bacon, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and beans. This didn't change for the week we were there. The evening meal had 2 soups (a clear and one other) , small salad selection (no cold meat), pasta, a couple of meat and fish dishes, chips and or another potato dish. For dessert there was a poor choice of ice cream, fresh fruit salad and 1 other i.e. Cake or mousse or strudel. We gathered that this year the hotel had changed their meals to all buffet, so I wonder why with such a poor choice of desserts there was a sign up saying do not help yourself! You queued up and had this served to you! Perhaps we would take too much!
Plugging in items such as mozzie protectors wasn't easy as there were hardly any sockets and sometimes hot water for a shower in the evening was non existent.
The free wifi wasn't very good in our room. In fact it was so intermittent that it was more frustrating than if we didn't have it at all.
Due to all the above and the fact that it doesn't really have much of a residents lounge I would only class this as a 3 star, not the 4 that is advertised.
On saying this, we had a wonderful time and the lovely staff more than made up for any of the shortcomings.

Just had a lovely week at this hotel. Nice clean rooms and the staff are really friendly. Food was good with an excellent selection. Would go back any time, the hotel is in easy reach of it's own beach area and bars.
