We stayed for 7 days all-inclusive. The meals were slightly limited in choice, but the quality was very good. Fish was particularly good. Breakfast was fine with a good selection to pick from (I particularly liked the baked apples with cinnamon & syrup covering). Drinks were slightly limited in choice, but again the quality was good, having sampled the beer, wines, brandy, and coffees. Hotel was quiet when we were there, but staff were pleasant and friendly. Room was clean and well appointed, and a sea view was there between the other buildings. All said & done, an excellent break, did what it said on the tin.

Room Tip: Corner rooms or high floors have sea views.

We got back from Quarteira after staying there for 3 nights and have to say after reading some of the reviews we dreading the holiday but were pleasantly surprised. Yes there isn't alot to do for young couples but then again its off season so that is to be expected. We flew with ryanair, so ticket was cheap and £19 per night b&b for the hotel which was a good deal. You get what you pay for, but the staff were polite, rooms tidy and clean and in a good location. The shower was excellent, never been in one that was so powerful. As we were a young couple we thought we would get a double bed, but they gave us a room with two singles so wasn't very comfortable at night, Wouldn't adivse to go all inclusive until you get to the hotel and you see what food and drink is on offer. We weren't really persuaded after seeing the menu and the quality of alcoholic drinks. So we ate out and we are glad we did as we saved money than going all inclusive. Would advise to pack warm this time of the year as in the evening it was more or less English weather! All in all it was a nice chilled out relaxing holiday, exactley what we needed!!

Room Tip: Go for the rooms on the second floor, not many beach view rooms available as you can only view it fr...

I booked up to go here in november and there was absolutely nothing to do there was no entertainment in the hotel the drinks were rubbish and there was no variety for the all inclusive people also the food was disgusting and we was hungry every night, if you wanted to go out and eat it would cost you a lot of money. Another thing was the pool wasn't even heated and the sun couldnt get round to heat it either. In the end we paid £314 to get our flights changed and we came back 3 days early. Complete disaster holiday.

This is a fab hotel with real freindly staff they cannot do enough for you and thier manners are impeccable.I loved every day here and didnt want to leave. The staff are so freindly esp bar staff. The food was a little boring but you would not starve at all.not good for kids nothing to do for them, but as mid 50's i loved the fact there was no kids staying.would go back in a flash met some great people over there,it was the most chilled out holiday i have ever had.

Room Tip: not good for kids

We have today returned from a wonderfully relaxed and chilled out holiday at the Hotel Atismar. We arrived early afternoon and was checked in very quickly and directed to our room. The room itself was lovely, with a balcony facing the sea and another overlooking the front of the hotel. It was very clean and was cleaned every day during our stay. The bed linen was immaculate, as were the towels, both of which were changed regularly. The food was excellently cooked and although not a huge choice, it was fresh and looked appetising, nobody complained at all during the time we were there. The All-Inclusive drinks finished at 10pm but the hotel staff didn't mind if you stocked your table with a few extra to last you a while longer, they were, also, very good in allowing guests to bring in various mixers that they didn't stock. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was very quiet, so all the guests socialised together, which was great. i wouldn't recommend the hotel for families with children or teenagers, it would be too quiet for them, with no activities. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre, the beach is 1 street away and the bus station is a couple of minutes walk, with good links to other areas of the Algarve. Vilamoura Marina is about 30/40 minutes walk but is well worth a visit. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 509, which had balconies to the beach side and road. It was a large room and altho...

Just back from a weeks holiday with my husband.
Rooms were fine and comfortable, Food was boring and the atmosphere in the hotel was more like a business trip than a holiday. Not being drinkers we found there was nothing to do at night, it would have been good if there was some entertainment in the hotel. There was only one English channel on TV and that was BBC news. Would certainly not go back to Quarteira or this hotel, We never spent one day in Quarteira but travelled around.

Room Tip: dont go to this hotel
