This restaurant came well recommended by a good friend and couldn't wait to check it or whilst in Vilamoura.
Got a taxi but in truth it's a pleasant 15 minute walk from the marina if you know where it is.
Didn't book and were perhaps lucky to get in because it was early. Really filled up later and is clearly popular with the locals which is always a good sign.
Very warm welcome and were served with complimentary bread olives and pâté.
We ordered a bottle local rosé.
I chose the rodizo again on recommendation and my other half had rump steak.
The rodizo consists of a never ending selection of meats carved at the table. It comes served with chips, rice and black beans which were delicious.
The rump steak consisted of FOUR slices of tender steak.
The rodizo was superb and in the end had to shoo the chef away!
After coffees the bill was an amazing 41euros.
Superb value, great food and excellent service.
