Wouldn't have found this place while on a business trip without trip advisor, but had a great local beer from smartmouth brewing co and some decent tuna tacos with black beans and rice. Food was a little bland but high in quantity and quality was good. Will definitely try this place again before leaving and have already recommended it to a couple of people.

This is a gem here along the bay in Norfolk. It's very casual with friendly, attentive service and local owners. There are always creative blackboard specials. The last time we dined here, we sat outside on the patio and had the East Beach Lemonade cocktail and the 905 Rum Punch. We tried the Fried Shrimp entree, which are handmade, not frozen, and you could definitely tell we're fresh. Also had the specials which was Cajun grilled Tilefish topped with seared scallops and the other fish was baja grilled shrimp over mixed greens and crisp vegetables in a tostada bowl with avocado ranch drizzle. It was all so good! Definitely will return again and again!

Wasn't blown away by the food but better than most in the area that we tried. Had the bacon cheeseburger, which I'd give 3.5 out of 5 stars. Fries were good. It was a little place and I'd probably go back to try the breakfast.

Like most places in the area, the restaurant was limited in terms of seating but it wasn't too crowded on a Thursday lunch shift.

Overall, we found the restaurant to be decent enough.

Service was amazing...attentive and helpful, even though it was busy. They have new things on the menu regularly, with special new drinks as well...the blueberry vodka lemonade was good! Crabcake sandwich was excellent, as was hamburger and Caesar salad and Cuban press sandwich. Greek dessert of loukoumades and gyro sandwich were amazing and rare o find at such a small venue. Owners are Greek though....

With the restaurant set in an old KFC right on Ocean View it would not be the best place for a first date - but the food is outstanding. Very small inside and out the ambience is one of Mom and Pop dinner inside with constant foot traffic outside heading to the 7-11 for a 12 pack of beer and smokes. (They are constructing a wall which should help with traffic noise and the peepers) All of that aside the food is very, very, good. It is the only place I am aware of in Tidewater with authentic Greek dishes – come on Thursday when they have the Greek specials and bring an appetite.
