I've been through this twice. It's a lovely memorial. I learned alot by seeing it and thought it worth going a second time.

Many people know GEN Douglas MacArthur, but few know of his ties to Norfolk. This museum is his final resting place and contains many artifacts from his historic career. Take the time to see it.

The MacArthur Memorial has an extensive collection of artifacts from the life of General MacArthur and really good explanations of his role in the Pacific. The gift shop has many interesting things, including lots of great books. The location is easy to reach on the light rail too.

Within walking distance of Nauticus and the USS Wisconsin is this little gem which explores the history of this country's greatest General. The museum operates on donations which is amazing considering the array of exhibits and information. Well worth a trip to learn about this man's life and his many contributions to the US.
