“Free museum - great for families”

Went here for the reopening and the duck sculpture - the museum has a nice variety of pieces, and its free. Worth a trip.

“Something for everyone! Not ho-hum!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

I was afraid of going to omg another boring art museum..but that was not the case with the Chrysler Museum! The building was beautiful! Very well laid out! Several rooms with art for everyone.. China, paintings, sculptures, blown glass, Egyptian artifacts, modern and ancient blending in wonderful harmony! The children were mesmerized not bored! The layout allowed for flow for many people with places to just sit if you wanted, a gift shop with reasonable prices, a snack area, and both stairs and elevators centrally located to allow accessibility for all! The cherry to top it all off is that admission is always FREE! We will go back again for sure!

“Wow! What a Great Renovation”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Rush to the Chrysler Museum for a treat. The renovation has greatly improved the displays and freshened the experience. Entrance is free. You can even enjoy lunch at the Wisteria Restaurant off the lobby, both indoor and outdoor seating. The gift shop has plenty of nice things if you need a souvenir for the family. This is a fabulous museum.

“A Free Experience”
Reviewed 27 May 2014

I bet you can't name a better price than free. And unlike many free activities this is one you cannot miss out on! The entire museum is gorgeous, and it is not things you will be able to see everyday. It was a nice, refreshing surprise to see the amount of history and details that went into this experience.

“A Real Gem!”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

The Chrysler Museum can stand with the best in the country. The museum recently reopened after being closed for more than a year. It is much better than before, having more room to display more of its fabulous collection. The glass collection is one of the best you will find anywhere. My only disappointment is that the gallery space allocated to photography is far from adequate to do justice to the museum's top notch collection. The Chrysler would be a GEM in any city of the world and a must visit when in Norfolk.
