My brother and I were lucky as we arrived 10 minutes before a tour iin English was due to start. It cost €5 for approximately 35 minutes.
There is a little 'museum' at the entrance hall where you are free to browse throught the advertisements of Sandeman over the past hundred years. Inside, the tour guide explained about the three varieties of port and was excellent at answering questions from our group. We watched a quick video about where the grapes are grown before entering the tasting room to try a white and ruby port.
