We stayed in a private room for three days. The room was perfectly clean and had a balcony with a view over the city center. The bathroom was excellent with a very nice shower. Furthermore, breakfast was very good, with every morning delicious homemade cake.
Nonetheless, still the best part was that Joao, the owner, did his very best to give us a wonderfull time. He tolt us all the nice locations, bars and restaurant.
Just choose this hostel. You won't regret.

Room tip: 2nd floor room was perfect with city view from balcony

The owner is super friendly and always ready to help. The breakfast is amazing. The shared bathroom was very clean. The environment is quiet, the bed cozy. The heart of Porto is close and you are able to enjoy the great view on the UNESCO site while crossing the bridge to the city or even better from the wonderful hostel garden. We felt very welcomed and recommend the place to everybody!

The facilities (room, bathroom, kitchen) were all very clean and nice. Also the location of the hostel was fine. Although it is located at the other side of the bridge than the city centre, there were plenty of nice bars/restaurants nearby (next to the water). Also, it is only a 15 minute walk (over the bridge) to the centre

Room tip: Not in particular. We had a shared bathroom which was very clean.

Our stay last weekend in Hostel Gaia Porto was fantastic. We were welcomed by the owner, which is very friendly man. He gave us many recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants which was great. The hostel itself was very clean, we had a room with a shared bathroom. Thank you so much for having us, we would definitely come back.

I had a lovely two night stay at Gaia Porto hostel. A small, family owned hostel. The owners are very kind and easy to talk to. There is a nice breakfast in the morning, very social. The beds are cozy, the location is wonderful in Gaia, and there is a nice little rooftop garden with a wonderful view of the city. Anything you need, they will help you find. If you want to stay a little bit off the beaten path, and have a relaxing stay, this is your place. I would come back anytime. Thank you so much for a wonderful visit!! ❤️
