We walked from Porto over to the south side of the river to enjoy a port tasting at Graham's. Our guide spoke good English and provided an excellent tour , describing in detail how port is made and stored. Afterward, we enjoyed 6 very generous tastings. Unfortunately, since were were traveling with only back packs and hand luggage, we could not purchase any port to bring home but we will look for this label when back in Canada, especially the year 2011.

The views were amazing, the building beautiful, the staff helpful.
The Port tour was great, very interesting. We enjoyed trying the port at the end of the tour and the guide had great knowledge.
I can fully recommend the tapas, the best we have had.
Overall a first class experience.

We had lunch here prior to taking a "caves" (cellar) tour. Lunch was quite pricey but was utterly delicious and worth every cent.
The views from the terrace back down the river are worth the climb to the winery, they are gorgeous. It is so peaceful to watch the view while nestled in the peaceful surrounds of the gardens and grapes.
The tour was brief but interesting. The tastings were very good but a little disorganized. My only disappointment was if you wanted to taste something beyond the tastings "set" you had pre-booked, you needed to pay for a whole glass, you couldn't just pay for a small tasting. This limited what we tasted. The actual port though was delicious!
Thank you for a truly sensational afternoon!

This active Port producer has a small museum detailing the beginnings of the company and the process of making port. You will have a small tour of the facility and then a tasting. There are different levels of the tasting according to price.

The eatery has good reviews and the view of the city below are very good.

Recommended by more than one local.

A must do if in Port for more than a day. We crossed the bridge from Port and were at Graham's in less than 15 minutes walking. The tour area is setup quite well, our guide was perfect (an Oxford student actually!), the port tasted great and the view over the river is fantastic. Try to opt for the VIP tasting, the library type room is a great atmosphere and has a lot of cool pics/articles.
