It seem classy, luxurious and costly place to stay, but overall it can be considered worth the value paid. The reservation hasn't gone through, I don't know why. Luckily it was a low season, hips of rooms were available. Most of the staffs don't speak English, but they try their best to give the best services, mostly people at the reception. The last resort would be calling other colleague from other building to help. The breakfast was lovely. The cafe at the entrance serve tasty food with acceptable price.

Room Tip: They do have 6 bed doom room.

I really like the settings of this hotel, with rooms in cottage-like buildings. Rooms are very nicely decorated. Complete amenities, you will find everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good too. They would go the extra mile to help you on everything.

I booked on one of the major internet booking sites and paid $95/twin for what was a terrific room which would have cost much more in the US. For the most part, I haven't found much value in Russian accommodation, but this place is an exception. Don't let the Best Western logo fool you, since this will be the nicest Best Western you've ever seen. The hotel just joined up with Best Western in May of this year, fwiw. Rooms were large, beds were comfy, wifi was superb, there's a fridge in the room, staff is friendly and speaks good English and the maids do a good job. Really, what more could you want? As previously mentioned, the pool isn't free. The restaurants are very pricey, even the lowest echelon of the three in the hotel. Note that it will take about 10-15 minutes to walk to the central part of town in order to seek out other restaurants. Breakfast buffet was pretty good; I've had better, but I've had a lot worse and there are plenty of selections. Plenty of tourist sights within an easy walk, so don't let the distance to outside restaurants dissuade you from staying here. BTW, if you are interested in eating here, the restaurants have changed names from the pre-Best Western days, so if you look for reviews here on TA, look for the address 138 Lenina in order to match up the restaurants with this location.

Room Tip: Most every room here is a good one. Building made out of thick concrete and you don't hear neig...

I am writing this review from the lobby as that is the only place that wi-fi is working. Last night we got wi-fi in the room after several trips to the front desk to tell them about lack of wi-fi. This morning it would only work sporadically in the room. Tonight, not at all in the room. And, to make things worse, this evening on TV the BBC news channel also went out.

The room itself is fine, although seems a bit overpriced. Room looks fresh and clean with attractive furniture and comfortable bed. Bath had large tub, good hot water and water pressure, but bathroom light is not very good -- not enough light to shave or apply make-up.

When we checked in several items were missing from the mini-bar. We notified the front desk; they replaced items and we assume things will be OK, but won't know until check-out tomorrow.

The hotel is affiliated with Best Western and is a standard mid-range business-type hotel in the main building surrounded by "cottages" with larger, more upscale rooms. Breakfast buffet was serviceable but nothing special. Did not eat at the restaurant.

If the wi-fi had worked I would recommend this hotel as the location and grounds are fine. However due to lack of reliable wi-fi I cannot recommend it.

It is a lovely hotel in the very centre of Sudzal. Several three storied cottages are spread out across a rather ample territory. Every cottage is modern, clean and with a designer hint. Bathrooms have jacuzzis. There is a large car park, an ice skating rink and a fitness centre in a separate cottage. Don't be fooled that the pool is within the hotel amenities - you have to pay separately to use it and the gym.

Breakfast is nothing special. The main restaurant is nice but didn't have half of the menu when we visited.

Overall atmosphere is lovely. Amazing place to relax with your other half over a weekend.

Excellent base for exploring the amazing monasteries (12th century on) that constitute the unspoilt township of Suzdal and for a glimpse of traditional rural Russia. Don't expect a tourist office, but there are numerous stalls with crafts. Good food everywhere if you know how to choose. The hotel complex must be busy at times, but otherwise is calm and relaxingly quiet. The staff is very helpful. Free wi-fi.

Nice hotel in a good location. Nice furnishing of the rooms. Poor breakfast (for such a type of hotel). Overpriced.
