“Fabulous location, groovy decor.”
Reviewed 9 October 2013

I first visited this restaurant about 14 years ago and was not disappointed with a recent follow-up visit. It deserves 5 stars for the terrific location high on a hill a few kilometers from Frigiliana with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and to the coast. The design of the restaurant building is highly unusual and the decor is groovy like something out of a 1960s spy film.

The waiter was very friendly helpful and quite self-effacing , The food was good rather than excellent and although we only ordered a main course, we were given a small complimentary hors d'ouevre and a complimentary glass of desert wine. I ordered the chicken and lamb couscous which was interesting.

My partner who needs a gluton-free diet was well-served with gluton-free bread and knowledge about which of the dishes were gluton-free. It was a reasonably priced meal for a great evening in fabulous surroundings.

Overall a quirky unique setting and decor for a restaurant

“Good food with great views”
Reviewed 27 August 2013

We came to this hotel/restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. The drive from the coast is a bit windy, but worth it. We had a very good lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. The waitress spoke very good English and the service was good.
