“Wonderful”
Reviewed 4 March 2013 for a stay in October 2011

We stayed for a week and both of us had a wonderful time. We plan to go again later this year.
The apartment was easy to find, absolutely spotless, well and tastefully furnished and decorated. The small complex boast a roof top pool and a small pool indoors, both of which were also spotless.
It is in the centre of the town and well placed for the many great restaurants, bars and shops. The is a local bus service into Nerja for the beach and larger shops and other attractions.
I would be happy to recommend the apartment to anyone. Great value for money.

“A stunning stay in the Spanish sunshine”
Reviewed 4 March 2013 for a stay in September 2012

No matter how many times I've seen a white washed hillside Spanish village each time I arrive into the historic village of Frigiliana it feels special. This special feeling will remain with you throughout your stay. The photographs of this wonderful ancient village go some way to telling its story but a trip there is really the only way to soak it all up.

I am a beachy person as well as loving hillsides and mountains. Frigiliana is sandwiched in between the Las Alpujarras in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the lively Spanish seaside town of Nerja so a perfect location to enjoy both.

With plenty of Spanish and foreign tourists alike this small hillside town retains a magical atmosphere. The apartment is perfectly located at a quiet end of the town with wonderful views towards the sea. A light, airy and spacious apartment with a good sized balcony with room for eating, chilling in the sun and enjoying a night time drink listening to the calls of the nocturnal birds. There are plenty of grocery, souvenir and handy shops and restaurants with a few minutes walk from the front door and wonderful mountain/waterfall walks literally from the apartment too.

“Picturesque village, relaxing holiday”
Reviewed 4 March 2013 for a stay in September 2012

We stayed in the Frigiliana flat in September 2012.

To sum up the holiday- it was remarkably easy! A total break.

From booking and communicating with the owners who were lovely - to transferring from Malaga to Frigiliana, - to adapting to the day-to-day laid back atmosphere of this part of Spain.

Prior to arrival our hosts Damian and Meli ensured all logistics were covered as well as great tips for attractions, beaches, eating out etc - so we knew exactly what we were doing and where we were going on arrival in Malaga...

The flat itself was spotless. And size-wise, perfect for a couple or small group. It's really well appointed, with every detail thought about, Ipod dock, Wifi, SKY, myriad electrical adapters, cooking facilities, the all important corkscrew and coffee pot, and umbrella and sun chairs for the balcony - which really was a sun trap!

Situated in the stunning Frigiliana we were amazed at how picturesque and peaceful the village was. Day trips to coastal Nerja were easily organised using the local buses and we found plenty of great beaches. All in all, a charming and lovely break.

Would totally recommend to anyone looking for a laid-back holiday in this authentic Spanish village.
