Stopped in Loja for lunch on the road. Found this place with a little difficulty since it's not as it says on the map - on the other side of the square in fact. Friendly service, smart restaurant with a good menu. We had the lettuce hearts with bacon which was lovely though a bit too much mayonnaise for our tastes, then the porcini and truffle risotto which was delicious and creamy, then the bacalao which was very nice but a bit too salty and buttery. Bread was much better than most places! Service a little slower than we would have liked - they must have made the risotto from scratch. A good choice for a lovely meal!
