Unlucky for us they were closed one day for some repairs. It was our only day in area.
We walked all the way up to find it closed. Walked around the outside of walls and enjoyed some gorgeous views. A great looking ancient castle. Sorry we missed the inside.

The castle itself isn't much but it does offer some lovely views on the surrounding area. Entrance price is very reasonable and if visiting on a Wednesday morning includes seeing some birds of prey with a short demonstration at 12pm which was worth the watch.

Great views and children go free. We walked up from the town rather than driving up. Around 200 steps in total, no great hardship. Started raining and then hail stones so had to cut short the visit.

We spent a couple of hours at the Castell Capdepera in early April. Interesting place to visit with amazing panoramic views. Learnt some history about Mallorca and the castle too. Good value at €3 for adults and older children. Need a good shoe as involves walking over rugged ground and up a steep slope!
