A very good course with greens that were of very mixed playing surface quality on the occasion of our visit on July 7th. The starting holes were in parts hollow tined and recently patch sanded. There appeared to be patchy disease on some greens leaving the grass in spots very yellowed. Nonetheless they played very well. Green fees were rather pricey given the cosmetic appearances of the greens. The alfresco dining area is very attractive and relaxing. On the day we dined there had been a change of chefs; so the menu choice was temporarily very limited. It was however a fantastic meal given that the hastily revamped menu had literally been hand written up for us in the kitchen. We have eaten here many times in the past and have never been disappointed.
