Well, what can I say! This hotel ticks all the boxes in my opinion!
We booked for one weeks stay and paid a very reasonable price so I wasn't expecting the earth however I'm pleased to report that I was surprised and impressed by the hotel.

The reception is bright and airy with free wifi. The girls on reception are nothing but helpful and friendly and were especially great when our daughter became ill. They called a doctor for us who arrived in 10minutes and helped explain fully the costs and process involved with our insurance etc. This advice was brilliant given the whole situation could have been a nightmare.

The rooms are basic but functional. Our family of 2 adults and 7 & 17 year olds had plenty of space for clothes storage, bathroom accessories, SHOES! and all other manner of holiday paraphernalia. We were only second floor so can't comment on the views but apparently they are awesome. The apartment was impeccably clean upon arrival and we all noted how lovely and fresh it smelt. Plenty of towels in the bathroom was great as well as lots of bed linen spare blankets etc.

The only criticism of the apartments is that they aren't particularly well equipped for self catering. Thankfully I'm the sort of person who plans for the worst and takes all manner of things with me and I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen. The only cooking equipment is a microwave and 2 electric hobs which leaves the dinner options a bit limited. In terms of utensils they were lacking scissors, can opener, veg peeler, potato masher, colander... Quite a few things which, when you only have a couple of rings to cook on, would help you manage to prepare something other than beans on toast! The crockery is also minimal (literally only 4 x each cutlery, plates and bowls) and fairly cheap and thin so be careful not to clang things together in the sink when washing up as they have a tendency to crack easily... This however didn't hinder us and we managed to cook in easily enough as well as going out.

The pool is ideally sized and the lifeguard is a lovely chap who clearly enjoys his job. He frequently helped give the younger kids tips to improve swimming, gave some (rubbish!) diving demonstrations for the young lads to help them along, helped move sun loungers about to prevent anyone struggling, distributed li-lo's and rubber rings as and when required, and generally ensured everyone had a relaxed and enjoyable time. The pool is big enough and deep enough with enough sun loungers to go around the amount of people that were there at the time we were. The pool restaurant is basic but fine however at €3 for a beer in a plastic glass I wouldn't get too excited. The food however was reasonable and prompt and generally the whole place suited it's purpose.

Location wise this place is right in the middle of the action - if you're expecting to snuggle down by 9pm then you're out of luck. The local bars have quizzes, karaoke and djs on until at least midnight most of the week and they're fairly loud. That said it didn't really keep us upas the kids sleep heavily anyway and the bedrooms are located at the back of the building so are largely away from the action but if you're a light sleeper don't expect to be getting an early night. The restaurants are plentiful and are reasonably priced. We didn't have a bad meal anywhere and found the service to be excellent everywhere.

Overall I would happily stay here again as we had a very pleasant stay and I can't think of any reason why not!

could not believe the price for what turned out to be a very clean and friendly apartment complex, close to restaurants, bars, shops and the beach the pool could have been larger but
not really a problem.
enjoyed walks into calla bona with a lot of english style restaurants and a small harbour.

Room Tip: contact apartments direct, high floor for views

After three months charity work in Africa (see sunrisesafaris .co.uk) I needed rest and rechartge and my wife needed her husband again. We also took our invalid sister of 80. The apartments suited us so well: supermarket across the road, lift to all floors kept sister happy, rooms basic but comfortable (luxurious after some in Africa!), sunny balcony with plenty to watch as it overlooked the pool and town. kitchen, again basic, but served our purposes well. Coach connection from airport to hotel was scenic trip and added to the pleasure. Sunny days arranged every day for us. What a Management! Staff friendly, did a good job so we looked forward to haring the daily,"Ola" when they looked in.
The 3 stars were well earned and the price inside ur budget. Thank you Atalaya, we''l recommend you to our friends.

Room Tip: Higher apartments give better views, quieter and no problems mfor the lift is there.

Loved this hotel arrived home yesterday. Ideal for families on budget. More importantly very Clean. The staff were very friendly . Pat on reception is English very friendly and helpful. Lola in bar always a smile and an "Hola". And Fernando the life guard what a lovely lovely man. Such a gentleman great with kids teaching them how to swim and dive. Puts your parasol up. Pulls your sun bed out and lays in right direction. He even jumped into pool to help an elderly man out. What a diamond the hotel has there. 1 in a million.
Hotel is situated in the hub of everything and a stones throw from beach. There is a supermarket right across road. Fresh baguettes every day. If you want to get bus to Porto Cristo then 1 is situated right outside door on opposite side of road. Calla Millor has lots of lovely restaurants. The Beach is lovely. Will definitely return.
