This is a very good hotel, really well located in Cala Millor and great for families. We have just returned from a 12 night break and had a lovely time. The hotel itself is really well run - spotlessly clean, well maintained and with genuinely friendly and helpful, smiley staff. No-one passes you without an "Ola!" and a smile. The rooms are really spacious: fabulous amounts of storage and a good sized balcony, and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant was well staffed and the food was excellent (we particularly enjoyed the sushi and Chinese food on one of the nights) and there is plenty of choice at every meal. The pool area is lovely with just about enough sunbeds for everyone (only a couple of times did we spot all sunbeds taken) and the nearby beach is fabulous. Our early evenings were spent at Fantasy Park (just across the road from the hotel) where our 7 year old would bounce on massive inflatables and trampolines for over an hour each night, followed by some go-carting and air hockey (all great fun and well priced). The Hotel "show" started at 9.30 - quite a mix of acts over the 12 nights- with some guest acts (magician, acrobats etc) and some by the hotel animation team which were of mixed quality but always delivered with great enthusiasm and good humour. Carlos in the "Crazy Show" was my particular favourite! Our thanks to all staff for a very enjoyable holiday.

If you choose to go to this hotel you will not be disappointed.
The location, food, drinks, staff and rooms are all excellent.
Everywhere is spotlessly clean.
The food is varied and plentiful.
The staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
The pool area is lovely, plenty of sunbeds.
Entertainment is a little tacky but made us laugh.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, this is my 2nd visit and I will be returning.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, great food, overall amazing. Downside is it is only German families. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great location only few minutes from beach. Cala millor is all German as well. Pubs, staff, food.... Not much Spanish left. Really enjoyed restaurant. Great pool. Would go again if I had a family. Other people said it is one of the best hotels in cala millor

Just back from a 2 week stay in this hotel and overall it was excellent. Very difficult to find a fault.

We were lucky to be able to upgrade to a junior suite and it was definitely worth the extra as the rooms are large and very comfortable. We had air con and it worked fine. There is also a small fridge in the room (mini bar size) and free wifi (which isnt very common in hotels even in the UK). Rooms are modern and recently refurbished to a high standard. Probably the nicest rooms we've stayed in during a "package" type holiday.

The food was pretty good considering its buffet style and reasonably varied each night with a wide range of hot food, salads, pasta, pizza etc etc on offer. We had a fussy 12 yr old and he managed to find something to eat every night at dinner which tells you something. There is no specific kids area for food but we did not mind this as its usually only ever chicken nuggets, chips & pizza thats provided. Breakfast had a huge range on offer incl all the usual cereals, breads, fruit, hot food etc etc.

The pool was very good also and we liked the fact that almost every pair of sunbeds had an umbrella therefore no need to fight over these. Generally, you could always get a sunbed at any time of the day which is a major bonus.

The hotel is located 2 mins from the beach and very close to a kids amusement park with bouncy castles, trampolines and go-karts which we frequented on an nightly basis!! Also very close to the main shopping street and the excellent cafe del sol bar on the beach.

We did not stay in the hotel at night therefore cant vouch for the entertainment but it seemed to be the usual mix of in-house and professional acts. There are lots of activities on during the day but there is no pressure to participate.

Perhaps the only negative aspect we found was the lack of interaction between the animation team and guests. Whilst the staff seemed pleasant enough, they did not seem to really speak to anyone. At the hotel we stayed at last year, the animation team were always mingling with guests chatting to them and fooling around with the kids at the pool which ours loved.

The service from the staff was excellent throughout especially in the dining room and the chamber maids as they were always every cheery and pleasant.

Calla Millor is a very good resort with plenty on offer for both adults and kids. Its flat with a large promenade that runs along to the next resort (Cala Bona) therefore easy to get around. Brits are in the minority but that wasnt a problem for us. Transfer time from the airport for us was approx 1 hr as we booked this separately for a reasonable £15 pp.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider going back next year.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a jnr suite if you can.

I agree with the previous reviewer ...Our main problem with this hotel was the air conditioning ...it just does not work properly ...we had 3 rooms all on floor 6 ...very nice of the hotel to upgrade us to sea view rooms ...but the aircon did not work in any room...one of which we had a baby in..but she woke each morning around 6am because of the heat in the room..we told reception about the problem and got very little response other than they would send a technician to look..it was never sorted....On the plus side the rooms were kept spotless the food was OK and the hotel is in a good location....It does have a high number of German guest but that is not a problem ...another slight concern around the pool there is very little room between sun beds so you cannot move them much...but at least you can usually get one......
