“fantastic!”
Reviewed 11 August 2011

this year's holiday was brilliant
ramon and all the boys at the bar will give you a good laugh, and they make outstanding fruit juice shots.
they'll pull you the best pint money can buy and are never sad.

becky works hard and is good at her job.
as soon as we arrived for check in. all you could gear was lady cristina's cry " billy billy!"
she was so happy to see me!
i'm a guy who loves a lie in every time i walk through reception, i heard tacy say "billy, are you just up!"

our room was right across form the resturant so we got direct dinner service!
not bad!
overall the holiday was good!
when we left for palma on our last day you could hear cristina's call: hasta luego spanish for bye.
we went to porto cristo for mass (catholic service) the church was beutiful.
in the words of comic book guy from the simpsons: best. holiday. ever!

Room Tip: if you have stiff legs ask for a low floor.

Had a great holiday in the Cristina Apartments in July. Would recommend this complex to families of all ages. Very clean and comfortable. There was nine of us in our group including five children ages ranging from 16 to 9. They all thoroughly enjoyed it and all want to go back next year. The staff were extremely helpful from the first day when I made the initial enquiry about accomodation right up to the day we booked out. Can't really comment on the evening entertainment as we strolled every evening to the lovely resort of Cala Millor, where there is a wide choice of bars and restaurants. However, the teenagers in our group couldnt wait to get back to the complex where they made plenty of friends. Poolside snack bar very reasonable and great for lunch. Will hopefully return next year. Overall, fantastic holiday!!

We love these apartments. This has been our second stay and we will definiately be back. Yes the apartments are a bit dated but they are big, clean and extremely comfortable. Bigger than our first flat we bought together! The pool, bar, snack bar and restaurant areas are very well maintained.

The entertainment was excellent. We have two children (10 and 7) and they loved the Kids Club and all the activities. In fact it was a stuggle to get them to go to the beach and water parks as they wanted to stay at the apartments to take part in the activities with their new found friends.

Yes there are a lot of returners (us included) but what better review than that. At this time where many many people are stopping having the luxuries of holidays - people like us scrape together what we can to let our families enjoy a two week holiday and there is no better place to take a break than Cristina Apartments.

We will definiately be back. The kids miss Becky terribly. She does a fabulous job as does Pascale (Fruit Pastille) - keep up the good work !!!

First the good bits. We went to this hotel because we got a good deal from the travel agent, and we wanted a cheap and cheerful holiday. The hotel is grand! The decor is in need of updating, but I could live with that, especially as it is very clean. The restaurant and pool bar are grand and the prices are competitive. The only problem we had with maintenance of the hotel was the wasps, they were everywhere! There were five regular pool-goers in our group and three of them got stung! So beware!

The hotel location is ok. It is in a more residential area and there is a walk to the sea-front where the shops and restaurants are located. We like to get out and see what is around us, so that was ok for us, but for the older and younger ones in our group taxis were a must, especially in the evening.

There was no problem getting a spot by the pool, especially as the loungers are locked until 9am. We were told by some repeat visitors that it was very quiet this year, so that may have helped. We also had no problem with noise. We were right by the bar but the sleeping area was at the back of the apartment (front of the hotel) which was fine.

Next, the entertainment. It was awful! Becky is a lovely girl, but the night-time entertainment was awful! The professional acts were good (once a week) and got the crowd going, and then back to bingo! (wobble, wobble!) It is a credit to the hotel that so many families go back year after year, but there is a deffinite 'clique-culture' in the hotel and this does mean that new families are not included! Sorry Becky, but the buck stops with you on that one!

The bar and restaurant staff are nice, but you need to watch your change! The price for a drink will vary depending on who serves you! When questioned about this there was a sudden lack of understanding! But that is the same everywhere.

In conclusion, we got what we paid for, a cheap and cheerful holiday. The hotel was fine as a base, and met our needs. The children in our group loved it, but we felt that if we were to return to the area we would look for a better location and better entertainment.

Very basic rooms and basic facilities. We woke one morning to find the tiles in the kitchen had all fallen off. The place itself was imaculately clean and the staff were ok.

It's very popular with English families, and don't believe that rubbish about it being the Germans nicking the sun loungers. The place itself was imaculately clean and the staff were ok.

It was pathetic to watch people going out at 8am in their night wear to bag the best spot. These same people spent the whole day around the pool and then all evening in the bar, which is a shame as Cala Millor is a lovely town with a beautiful beach and some great restaurants.

Check out Cafe del sol on the front. It has great food, live music and amazing views.

If you're looking for a place to use as a base to explore the island then it's perfect. If you're looking to relax in lovely suroundings then perhaps you need to pay a little more and look elsewhere.
