I have stayed at the Serrano Palace for many years and always thought it was a very good hotel. This year the hotel has just got better than ever. Since my last visit in 2007, there is a new hotel manager Tony and a new restraunt manager also called Tony, along with a wonderful chef from Italy called Alex who is clearly passionate about the food he delivers to the guests. New innovations included fresh fruit served to hotel guests at the poolside every afternoon, often by the chef himself. A welcome drink (free) upon arrival at the restraunt each evening was a really nice touch, this included champagne on Gala night. Champagne is also served to guests at check-in, whilst you complete arrival paperwork and pick up your room key. Check-in at the Serrano Palce is speedy and efficent.
If you are looking for a relaxing hotel with 1st class service from a superb staff team, this is the place to go, you will not be disappointed.More
