We'd never had a go on a Segway, and passed by this by accident. So glad we did. We booked for one of their 90 minute tours. We started off in their obstacle course on a low speed setting to get teh feel for teh machine, then the speed governor was switched off and they gave us another 10 minutes of going round the track to make sure we could handle the segways properly stop when needed and turn tightly.
Then it was off with our guide, who was conscientious and kept a look out for us without fussing over us.
We had a tour of the coats, and got to places we'd not seen and would not have walked to, then off into the local forest for a bash around a long-ish track in the trees. That gave us a good chance to get to know the segway really well and understand what it could do and how fast it could go. All too soon it was back to teh park and handing back our segways.
If I have any dislike, it would be very minor. Perhaps the length of time we spent in the forest. Whilst it was fun, I would have preferred to go farther afield - but now that I have mastered the basics, that is for the next trip. So perhaps it is great for beginners, but not so good for experienced riders.
