“Spanish and friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 July 2014

C'an Picafort have their promenade as well as other spanish coast cities. The central area in this city is filled with quite average tourist typical places you can eat on. El Puerto, situated in the outside of the central ares, is a well worth alternative. They may not have the best pizza in town but they do have other dishes you will find tasty. They also have dishes of the day, specially fish. Try the tuna if possible.
The staff is really eager to serve you and you can feel they love their job. I think most of the staff is spanish. Good! We were 2 adult and 4 grown up kids eating there. It also looked like the spanish youngsters also went here for dinner.

“Excellant restaurant amongst a sea of tourist type eating houses”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 June 2014

After walking along the lovely prom at C'an Picafort looking for a restaurant that appeared to appeal more to the Spanish market than the tourist market, we finally came across the restaurant El Puerto just by the little port. We ate fish which was excellant, plus the service couldn't be falted. We enjoyed the meal so much that we decided to return the following day.
Definately worth walking that little bit further for some quality food.
Not expensive either.

“Best Paella ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

We ate here the best Paella we ever had! (mixed with meat and sea food).

Great service, friendly waiters and nice sea view.

Place was full of locals when we were there.

“Best Food in Town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013

We were so happy to find El Puerto after eating at dull tourist restaurants which all served the exact same dishes.
El Puerto had a smaller and more specific menu with specials fitting the season. I had their fish of the day and my partner had steak, and we were both more than satisfied with our meal. It is a nice small place, and the service was good.
It is definitely worth a visit.

“such a lovely little gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 October 2012

After walking along the sea front in Can Picafort and viewing all the loud and large cafe / bar / restaurants along the way we found this little gem of a restaurant tucked near the harbour and what a delight it was. firstly the staff we fantastic, polite, professional and very efficient. We just had a coffee and a beer and within minutes of sitting in the glorious setting outside with beach and harbour opposite we knew that we would be coming back again.
We visited numerous times over our week holiday and ate there twice in the evening. The wine was a high quality and the pizza was probably the best we have ever had. swift service but never felt we were being rushed. The prices were very reasonable and we would definately recommend this restaurant.
