“Majorca at it's best!”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

Our main reason for visiting Majorca was to indulge in some great adventure activities and Experience Mallorca made our visit worthwhile.
Tracy was very responsive on mail and tailor-made 3 activities for us for 3 days.

Day 1 - Torrent de Pareis
This is a good 4-5 km tough hike that descends a hill into the canyons towards Sa Calobra. It can take anywhere between 3-5 hours depending on your fitness levels. Wear light clothes, put on sun-screen & take atleast 3 litres of water per person and some food as there is nothing available until you reach the end. Do not take DSLRs, unless you can handle it well. Take light small cameras, if possible. Our guide was most helpful during the hike and we required his help in several tricky crossings. The journey is beautiful, but quite tiring. The end at Sa Calobra is a beautiful pebble beach, which is enjoyed even more after the tiresome journey, so carry some beach-wear as well. You can also visit Soller town on the way back, which is a beautiful town with a heritage train service back to Palma city.

Day 2 - Sea Caving
Our guide for the day, Juan took us to East Coast of Majorca. We changed into light swim wear and carried our sea-suits and bags for 30 minutes until we reached the beach from where we were to depart. Take a water-proof camera, sun-screen, 2 litres of water and some food along for this trip.
We changed into our sea-suits and were given a water-proof bag to put our clothes and belongings in. It is not very big, so don't carry voluminous objects. We jumped into what was the most dirtiest beach I've ever seen (Dirty because it was full of plant coir and sand) and soon we were in the clear waters. The sea was pretty rough and we were asked to backpaddle to swim comfortably. With great effort, we were able to cover 200m and reach the Sea Cave, where we saw great formations of Stalagmites and Stalactites. The water inside the cave was the most clear that I have ever seen (Two huge contrary sights in a day!) It was like a mini-hike in the cave itself and we also got to dive there from a height. It was a great experience there inside and also a challenge to swim against the strong sea currents.

Day 3 - Coasteering!
Lot of hype surrounding this activity and why not! It was amazing! Our guide Miguel had some mean sense of humour and he took us to the South side of Mallorca for this activity. Take 1 litre of water per person, sun-screen, water proof camera and some food for this activity. It is a half-day activity, which will probably end before lunchtime.
We reached the spot and changed into our sea-suits. We did some good cliff dives using the techniques taught by Miguel. Then we did some mean rock climbing, which requires some real raw power. Some of us got our hands cut while climbing the rocks as we didn't catch the right places. Then some abseiling as well, which was a pleasant descent using a rope system. The sea was quite rough and it made our activity even more challenging than usual.

Overall, I totally recommend all these activities in Majorca and especially with these guys. They were really amazing and helpful, considering these activities were very new to us.

“Torrent de Pareis- What a day!”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

I have just returned home from a fantastic holiday in Mallorca and one of the highlights was definitely the day I spent walking the 'Torrent de Pareis' with my guide Miguel from Experience Mallorca. It was a 7.5ish mile walk/hike down from high in the mountains along what in the winter would be a river bed but in the summer is an amazing gorge walk, which finishes at the beautiful Sa Calobra beach! The views were spectacular and the terrain gave just enough of a challenge to make it fun and interesting but not so much that you felt over-faced. The guide Miguel was great. He was a wealth of knowledge throughout the walk, telling us interesting stories about the surrounding area and its history as well as giving great instruction and always making you feel safe on the tricky bits! This is the 1st trip I've taken with Experience Mallorca and I'd highly recommend it. Great day out had by all, including the mountain goats that joined us for lunch :-)

“A nice day out”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

It is the perfect way to disconect from the daily routine and to do something fun. Me and my boyfriend did the coastering activity last week and i really enjoyed it. Juan is very friendly and talkative guide, he always puts safety first, special thanks for the nice day we had.

“Coasteering - Fantastic Family Activity”
Reviewed 31 July 2014

If you have never done anything like this before then just book it! We are a family of two teenagers a two 40 something adults. We are an active family but I was not sure and a little afraid. Tracy who takes the bookings was very informative and responded to e-mails and question quickly and efficiently. On the day we chose to go late afternoon and were met in a car park at 15:30. Our guide was brilliant. Juan - looked after us all. There were a few more in our group - a total of 9 which was about right. Some braver than others at the cliff jumping. All safety equipment was provided and our 13 year old daughter and 15 year old son loved the abseiling, rock climbing and especially the sea caving. You really only need a pair of old trainers to do this activity. Well work the money and next year we will defiantly be back to try another activity under the instruction of Experience Mallorca. The activity lasted approximately 3 1/2 hours. Advisable to take a drink.
