This hotel is fab! Great food and drink (cocktails were gorgeous). Went with my hubby and 2 kids age 4&9 for 2 weeks. They loved it. Great activities and entertainment. Hotel was beautiful and clean, staff were amazing! My youngest has Autism, hotel situated us on the ground floor and were very helpful.
For a family holiday you could not ask for more!
The only thing I could fault if anything was the beds were a little uncomfortable, after 2 weeks my back was a bit sore but on the whole we had an amazing holiday :-)

I stayed here with my husband, daughter, son in law and two young grandsons for a week at the end of May, it was outstanding family accommodation that catered for all our needs. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with great swimming pools especially the children's pool with the pirate ship and slides. The apartments are very spacious with a good sized television and lots of English channels; great if you have young children. The food is extremely good and a lot better than most hotels offering half board never mind all inclusive. The variety of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing and it is hot and well cooked, the food served at the bar is also very good. The a la carte which you can avail of once a week is just okay nothing outstanding.
The variety of drinks at the bar is as good as any non inclusive hotel with known names also available on all inclusive. The only negative note is the entertainment which was not particularly good but the this is well overshadowed but the rest of the lovely hotel. The staff in all parts of the hotel are friendly and helpful. All and all it would be difficult to find a better family all inclusive hotel.

Room tip: We were in block 4 on top floor and found it to be very good.

We visited the Viva Ca'n Picafort at the beginning of May
What a lovely complex, the gardens and grounds are beautiful and well cared for.
The room was very nice with plenty of space. The bedroom also had sliding doors which opened up on to the balcony which was nice in the mornings for sitting drinking a cup of coffee, with out having to go through the doors in the living room which our daughter was sleeping in on an ample sofa bed. Small kitchen are which was enough for a cup of tea/coffee although there was a microwave and toaster if needed.
Fridge was a bit noisy but good for keeping water and milk in.
The food was nice with a varied selection for breakfast lunch and dinner, although we mostly used the pool restaurant for lunch as the system they had for ordering food was well organised and the food was always fresh and cooked well.

Plenty of space around the pool and always clean and tidy - it was early in the season but looked as though there would be plenty of beds even in the middle of August.
We would definitely go back here again it had just the right balance for any early summer holiday.

I have just returned from Viva C'an Picafort with my husband and 2 year old son. We booked the 4* premier property as we like all inclusive but also like a decent hotel with nice facilities, this was our first holiday taking our son abroad so wanted somewhere a bit special for him too. We had a one bedroom apartment in block 4 overlooking the duck pond - our son loved saying good morning and good night to the ducklings each day. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, the grounds are well kept and the pool area is fantastic. The pool is split into two areas and you can always get a sunbed. They also have a pirate ship in a separate kids area and splash pool for the little which is about 2 foot deep if that. Be warned it's not heated but I don't think the kids mind. They also have a fantastic playground with a bouncy castle and trampoline, our little one was too small for the kids club but the hotel team always seemed to be doing a lot of stuff with the older kids at the hotel. The food was really good, a wide selection at the buffet everyday, yes you always get your normal salad, pasta's and chips, but they always have a speciality at the main stand so you could mix it up each night. The ala carte restaurant is nice, but nothing really special - its good to be able to sit back, order and have your meal brought to you though, The bar staff at both the pool bar and main bar are excellent, you never have to wait too long for a drink and you can have more or less anything you want - trying a different cocktail everyday is such a chore :). The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the beach where you pay 10.50 euro's for two beds and an umbrella which we did everyday as can't stay round the pool for more than a few hours. The resort itself is really family friendly, lots of bars and restaurants but nothing too rowdy which suited us fine. We would love to go back to the Viva C'an Picafort again in the future and would definitely recommend to anyone who has a family and likes a high quality hotel.

Room tip: When you arrive you can upgrade to a garden room with hammock, this is great for families with smaller children who wont be round the pool all day as it is an extra space but safer than letting them out on the balcony.

A great short flight from the UK, then a transfer of about an hour. A beautiful, airy Reception with very helpful staff. Large rooms, more like an apartment with a bath, separate shower and small kitchen area. Huge lounge with TV, just change the language on the settings to get most channels in English. Food was amazing, lots of variety, fresh bread in the mornings, tons of fresh fruit. Lots of local Spanish food. Restaurant staff very friendly and efficient. Bar drinks lush! Try the G&T (ask for Gordon's) and the strawberry Mojitos! kids club was great for all ages, my 5&8 year olds loved it, especially Junior. Evening entertainment not that great but am sure it gets better as season goes on. The town is just 10-15 mins walk away or 3-4 euros in a taxi, great bars and restaurants, lots of shops. Would definitely return!

Room tip: We stayed in the ground floor, rooms were huge. There are some rooms with outside gardens and hammocks, these looked lovely.
