My wife and I stayed here for a week in early June with our 3 year old son and can only describe the hotel, food and staff as faultless. The rooms are big with a separate living area which included a small kitchen (room safe costs €16 for the week.) The bathroom has both a bath with overhead shower and separate walk in shower. We emailed the hotel in advance and asked for a room with a pool / garden view that got afternoon sun and that's exactly what we got. We stayed on the 2nd floor of block 4 which overlooked the pool but was away from the evening entertainment which was great. The food was some of the best we've experienced in our many all inclusive holidays. For breakfast and dinner we eat in the buffet style main restaurant in which there was a good choice of what to have and the food was always hot. (Plastic tableware for the kids meant that is was very child friendly) For lunch we eat in the pool bar which different in the fact that you choose off a menu, placed your order and then were paged when it was ready. Again there was a good choice and because it was made to order it was fresh and hot. Drinks were plentiful and again you had a lot of choice which were all listed on the bar menu. We took our son to the kids club a couple of times (they have to be 4 to be left by themselves) in which the staff were fantastic they did a good variety of activities which included cocktail making (non alcoholic of course), fruit kebabs, craft work and medal games which all the children take part to be in with a chance of winning a medal which is presented by BUFO the in house character at that evenings mini disco. He also painted a t-shirt and went on a pony ride which were both at a little but reasonable extra cost. The pools are all very good we found the splash pool a little cold and hectic so stayed mainly by the main pool which was a good depth, still very family friendly and was easier to get a sun bed if not wanting to get up early (pool towels are supplied from reception.) All staff were very friendly and when we needed information they were more then happy to help. The hotel is located on the edge of the resort but a fairly easy downhill 10 minute walk to the beach front where there is a nice beach with a good selection of shops. We took the bus to the next resort of Alcudia which took about 15-20 mins and cost €3.60 for all of us, (the bus was very busy so I would suggest going earlier rather then later.) The beach at Alcudia is fantastic and again has a good choice of shops and eateries.
The hotel has an on site shop which caterers for all your needs however is a little more expensive then the ones in the town.
All in all this was one of the if not the best holiday we have been on. As said before the hotel staff and food were excellent and we would not hesitate in recommending this to anyone with children as it will not disappoint.

Brilliant place to stay fully inclusive had three apartments. There were six of us ranging from eleven to sixty one and we all had a great time. Very clean, food really good and the staff were happy pleasant and helpful.
Recommend it.

Room Tip: All are good but if little children I suggest ground floor as you get a small garden which is better...

This was our first stay at Viva Can Picafort and enjoyed it. We don't have children but we were travelling with my sister, brother in law and niece who is 10 months. Rooms / apartments were nice and spacious huge balcony with doors from bedroom and living area we were in block four on the 2nd level over looking the duck pond, good kitchen facilities, bathroom has bath with over bath shower and separate shower cubicle. Safes are 16.50 euros per week we usually have to pay for a safe on holiday anyway but do usually get a deposit back at the end of the week but not here, beach towels are free. Food and drink excellent lots to choose from at breakfast and evening meal, we choose to eat at the pool bar at lunchtime which was the best pool bar snack menu I have seen, everything anyone would look for freshly made pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, kebabs to name a few and you can order and collect to take back to your sun bed excellent idea for some. The pool bar turns into the Italian restaurant at night and the food was nice. Drinks were good, only two cocktails during the day but a huge menu in the evening and the ones we tried were lovely all branded spirits. All the staff work hard and are so friendly. Entertainment isnt great which I was surprised at with Viva being a group of hotels and it does finish at 10pm. The hotel is a short walk to the sea front but I will say found the resort to be very German orientated compared to Santa Ponsa, Palma Nova areas where we have stayed before. Weather was great sunny and high 20's we stayed 30th May - 6th June and forecast was to get hotter the weekend we left it did get cooler some evenings I always wore a cardigan. Transfer time from the airport was better than I thought we were first drop off but first pick up on the return. Palma airport is a joke for an airport that size it gets worse rather than better we waited an hour for our bags on arrival and on return the check in staff are so slow we only just had time to have something to eat before boarding which isnt fair when a 10 month old baby is hungry and needs time to eat and changed. We traveled with First Choice their rep at the airport was Spanish and useless, gone are the days you get a rep on the bus to and from the airport which doesn't bother me but what are we paying a so called reputable company for. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would recommend Viva Can Picafort and would look at other hotels within the Viva group in the future.

This hotel is fab! Great food and drink (cocktails were gorgeous). Went with my hubby and 2 kids age 4&9 for 2 weeks. They loved it. Great activities and entertainment. Hotel was beautiful and clean, staff were amazing! My youngest has Autism, hotel situated us on the ground floor and were very helpful.
For a family holiday you could not ask for more!
The only thing I could fault if anything was the beds were a little uncomfortable, after 2 weeks my back was a bit sore but on the whole we had an amazing holiday :-)

I stayed here with my husband, daughter, son in law and two young grandsons for a week at the end of May, it was outstanding family accommodation that catered for all our needs. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with great swimming pools especially the children's pool with the pirate ship and slides. The apartments are very spacious with a good sized television and lots of English channels; great if you have young children. The food is extremely good and a lot better than most hotels offering half board never mind all inclusive. The variety of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is amazing and it is hot and well cooked, the food served at the bar is also very good. The a la carte which you can avail of once a week is just okay nothing outstanding.
The variety of drinks at the bar is as good as any non inclusive hotel with known names also available on all inclusive. The only negative note is the entertainment which was not particularly good but the this is well overshadowed but the rest of the lovely hotel. The staff in all parts of the hotel are friendly and helpful. All and all it would be difficult to find a better family all inclusive hotel.

Room Tip: We were in block 4 on top floor and found it to be very good.

We visited the Viva Ca'n Picafort at the beginning of May
What a lovely complex, the gardens and grounds are beautiful and well cared for.
The room was very nice with plenty of space. The bedroom also had sliding doors which opened up on to the balcony which was nice in the mornings for sitting drinking a cup of coffee, with out having to go through the doors in the living room which our daughter was sleeping in on an ample sofa bed. Small kitchen are which was enough for a cup of tea/coffee although there was a microwave and toaster if needed.
Fridge was a bit noisy but good for keeping water and milk in.
The food was nice with a varied selection for breakfast lunch and dinner, although we mostly used the pool restaurant for lunch as the system they had for ordering food was well organised and the food was always fresh and cooked well.

Plenty of space around the pool and always clean and tidy - it was early in the season but looked as though there would be plenty of beds even in the middle of August.
We would definitely go back here again it had just the right balance for any early summer holiday.

I have just returned from Viva C'an Picafort with my husband and 2 year old son. We booked the 4* premier property as we like all inclusive but also like a decent hotel with nice facilities, this was our first holiday taking our son abroad so wanted somewhere a bit special for him too. We had a one bedroom apartment in block 4 overlooking the duck pond - our son loved saying good morning and good night to the ducklings each day. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, the grounds are well kept and the pool area is fantastic. The pool is split into two areas and you can always get a sunbed. They also have a pirate ship in a separate kids area and splash pool for the little which is about 2 foot deep if that. Be warned it's not heated but I don't think the kids mind. They also have a fantastic playground with a bouncy castle and trampoline, our little one was too small for the kids club but the hotel team always seemed to be doing a lot of stuff with the older kids at the hotel. The food was really good, a wide selection at the buffet everyday, yes you always get your normal salad, pasta's and chips, but they always have a speciality at the main stand so you could mix it up each night. The ala carte restaurant is nice, but nothing really special - its good to be able to sit back, order and have your meal brought to you though, The bar staff at both the pool bar and main bar are excellent, you never have to wait too long for a drink and you can have more or less anything you want - trying a different cocktail everyday is such a chore :). The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the beach where you pay 10.50 euro's for two beds and an umbrella which we did everyday as can't stay round the pool for more than a few hours. The resort itself is really family friendly, lots of bars and restaurants but nothing too rowdy which suited us fine. We would love to go back to the Viva C'an Picafort again in the future and would definitely recommend to anyone who has a family and likes a high quality hotel.

Room Tip: When you arrive you can upgrade to a garden room with hammock, this is great for families with small...
