I booked this hotel for its 4* rating, adults only, gym, spa and turkish bath and i can honestly say..... it did nothing but disapoint!!!
Adults only is a joke, there was a man and child (4yr old) already there but did check out the next day, 5 days later a man and wife with their daughter (about 7-9yr old) and the next day a woman with her daughter (3yr old), i asked at reception if it was an adults only hotel to be told yes and when i asked about the latest child, they responded with 'she was booked in as an adult', i asked about other children and all of a sudden she couldnt understand my english!! The reception area is very grand and worthy of its 4* but the rest of the hotel not so much,
The hotel Spa and Turkish bath are NOT in the hotel but down the street which after a week of looking im stillbyet to find, therebis however a gym and hottub on the 4th floor.... with no windows that open so it smelt and was far to hot.
Rooms were to small and our air con leeked water, we were above the dining room so was very loud, bathrooms were fine! When cleaning lady had finished cleaning it smelt of wee (not sure what was used to clean with) we started to put the do not disturb sign up as couldnt stand the smell.
The pool area is fab as are the sunbeds, however the area was never once cleaned and yes this includes the actual pool, in the whole week i was there, when the sun was shining on the pool you could see the layer of scum and dirt on the surface and the pool filter was furry it was that dirty, kust to top it off the lifegaurd could walk due to an injury and he managed to read 2 thick books in a week, so you can guess who wasnt watching the pool!!!!!!!.
The staff are by far the most rude and ignorant people i have ever had the dis-pleasure of meeting, unless your German they dont want to know you, reception was having a full blown 10 min conversation with a german guest (after he seen me standing there waiting to speak to him) then when he did assit me i got a 1 word answer and a point of the finger.
Food was disgusting, i went b&b and i was thanking my lucky stars, its was ained at the german guests, breakfast was mainly cold meats, cheeses and german sausages, the chef (rolf) at the egg stand never smiled or spoke once till he got a sly €15 tip via a handshake from a german guest then left his station to put it away in his pocket.
The area of C'an Picafort is nice and the weather was amazing, personally i wouldnt go back as there is not much to do but if i ever did return it would not be to stay at this bad excuse of a hotel, very disapointed.
