What a charming hotel, we have been here for a week, just 3 days left now, and as the saying goes "time flies when you're having fun".
It's all been said already. A quiet respite from the stress of everyday life, the staff are fantastically friendly and helpful, and the hotel is spotless.
While the restaurant does not have the range of menu that larger hotels carry, we have been unable to find fault with the food, well cooked and hot, with a reasonable variety.
Unlike larger hotels, which can make sometimes make you feel like a room number, everyone here talk to each other.
The Don Juan bar is attached to the hotel but run seperately but the same high standards apply as in the hotel, and a pint of San Miguel is indeed E1.50 with a half at E1.00, the same price as the Crazy Horse Bar opposite, and Scandals Bar a hundred yards or so up the road.
Apparently next year the Hotel becomes ALMOST completely Thomsons, I hope they dont ruin a lovely hotel. We shall be back sometime.More
