This was the first time at a Gold Hotel, as we have always stayed at family hotels due to our daughter being deaf and having mobility problems. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially in the dining room. The food was very good, with a good mixture of different foods on offer. The entertainment was very professional, although the Thomson staff seemed short staffed at times with only one on duty to organise the day time activities, which were laid back. The sun beds were good with plenty of room around the pools and gardens. The rooms were good, although my wife would have preferred more drawer space. Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday with friendly helpful staff.

Room Tip: Block E has good sea views from the first and second floors.

Many thanks to all at the Hotel Picafort Park for another great holiday. The hotel staff were all really attentive and it's difficult to single people out but special thanks have to go to Lesley for giving us room G201 with its great pool view and to Pedro the bar waiter. Of the Thomson staff Tom Payne was the star of the entertainment team and Vicki from the hotel team was very conscientious and spent much of her time making sure that everyone was happy.

The good points include the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the copious choice of excellent quality food at every meal. The evening shows included some great visiting acts and the excellent Thomson peripatetic entertainment team. The resident duo of Neil and Bernie (Ready to Go) were every bit as good as we remembered from last year.

We had just two gripes which are minor but it would be good if Thomson and the hotel management could look at these for the future. The free Wi Fi is far from being a selling point. It was better last year when it had to be paid for but this year it was very erratic with frequent lengthy losses of Internet connection and great difficulty in logging on. My guess is that the system was overloaded because many more guests had tablets, smart phones or Kindles and were using the Wi Fi because it was free. We also felt that €2.60 a day plus a deposit to use the safe was excessive especially for a 14 night stay.

Our first time at this hotel, tho we've stayed at many Gold hotels. Lovely location, quiet, nice walks, amazing views, friendly staff, good food, useful bus routes from just outside hotel. Only grumble, and this isn't the hotels fault, is selfish guests putting towels on sunbeds long before 8am and not using them for hours( hotel rules, they said all towels would be removed by staff-maybe if they WERE removed, people would stop doing it) . And again, selfish English man, taking the ketchup bottle to his table EVERY morning, Maybe the sauce bottles need to be tied down somehow, can't believe how some people act, no wonder the English aren't liked. Having said that, would return, in a year or two.

My sister and I have just returned from a five day break to Picafort Park we had a great time , as my sister had broke her toe before we arrived Lesley arranged a ground floor room for us which was very good the staff are so helpful and friendly the food is brilliant and the evening entertainment was great The only thing I can think they could do to improve the hotel is to upgrade the rooms they are a wee bit tired looking now but it would not put me off going back Well done Picafort Park you helped to give two Sisters a well deserved and very enjoyable rest Enis and Jannete

This was our second visit to this hotel,we stayed all inclusive and certainly got value for our money, the food was amazing,so many choices for each day, lovely friendly staff who just want you to have a fab stay.hotel is well looked after and really clean, really nice friendly guests and everybody is well entertained by the fab reps and evening entertainment, the only issue that was a bit annoying is the lack of outside seating in the evening,it's quite hard to get a table outside and we didn't want to sit inside as the entertainment can be really loud, think they could maybe look at their sound systems and speakers,on the whole this is a great hotel in a lovely location, very quiet outside and in between can picafort town which is really lively, lots of bars, shops and amazing beaches and if you fancy a walk in the other direction there are more bars and restaurants to be found, lovely evening stroll along by the sea, would defo return again.

Room Tip: We stayed in c block this time which has fab sea views and lovely balcony

Returned for the 3rd year running, and were not disappointed.
Excellent location, quiet and relaxing.
Lesley and the Reception staff organised our rooms as requested. Thanks again for that.
Met some familiar faces and some new ones.
The new water volleyball net was a real bonus, thanks Jose Maria.
The daily water volleyball is the most entertaining physical activity on site, and once the silly red / yellow card rule was dispensed with, it was great fun. The Pansy team lost to the Luftwaffe (Luftwaffle) team every day. Thanks Pansy.
Thanks to Tom and Tash for their enthusiasm. They are growing into their roles every day.
We will try and return next year, as we enjoy the unpressured, relaxing, friendly atmosphere.

Thanks to all our old and new friends for a great 2 weeks. (Pansy and Jo, Jim and Kerry, Chelsea and Joy, Mrs and Mrs John Wayne, Norman and Cath, and many others).

Guy, Cheryll, Ros and Hayley.

Room Tip: If you can't manage stairs, go for a ground floor room. Don't get a sunbed by the shallow p...
