Stayed here for a week mid October. The villa was excellent and great value for money. There were eight of us, 4 adults and 4 children. The villa was very spacious and cleaned to a high standard. It was very well thought out with more than adequate supplies of crockery, kitchen utensils etc. There were four bedrooms, 3 doubles and one with three singles. The beds were all comfy with clean linen an towels. There was also a washing machine and tumble dryer, which meant always having clean, dry towels.
The garden was large and mature, situated in an orange grove with Orange,Almond an Olive trees. Thete is nothing like picking fresh oranges for breakfast. There was an unheated outdoor pool, which in October was still usable, although rather bracing. There were also a couple of hammocks, sunloungers, a barbecue and a covered patio complete with dinning table and chairs. The garden was mature with lots of birds chirping away. It was also very private and secure, accessed through an electronic gate.
The town of Binissalem was a short walk away and the villa situated minutes from the train station, which provides an excellent service, therefore negating the need to hire a car. The town has three small supermarkets providing all you need at reasonable prices. There are also several bars and low key restaurants. In our whole week here we seen very few tourist in the town, which was exactly what we were wanting.
The owners of the Villa stayed in the adjacent property, but respected your privacy and were polite and honest.
The only negative thing I have to say is that it is hard to find and there was ambiguity regarding the address, with the wrong property number being provided by our booking agent. This meant that our Kate night taxi ride from the airport went from costing €40 to €70 and took well over an our. Make sure you have the owners number, which we didn't. However, this was the only down side I can think of as our stay was magical. We are already
talking about booking up again.
