booked a late deal with Thomson. having stayed at Protur hotels before we knew what to expect and we were not disappointed. we arrived and were in a long queue to sign in as we were the 4th bus that day, but we were quickly dealt with and went to our room on the 1st floor ( 2 flights of stairs, with luggage ) the room was very spacious with kitchen diner/bedroom and bathroom, independant heat/air con for bedroom and dining area. everything was spotless and had maid service 5 times in the week. the only draw back to our room was the view from the balcony overlooked the bar roof, not a problem for us but could be for those who like to sit out. all staff friendly and polite and most helpful. the outside areas were well kept and clean, and we were impressed with the children's splashpool. we will be returning there again. posted no photos as all the complex has all been covered. PS the kettle leaked one morning and we had a new one on our return, no other item to complain about.

Room Tip: we stayed in room 1A overlooking the bar roof

We enjoyed a week between 14th & 21st March at this excellent complex which deserves the highest rating for exceeding our expectations. They have superb facilities for a good holiday, with friendly staff who work hard to make you feel welcome and eager to return. It was our first time here, but we spoke to many other couples who had returned several times and they were equally impressed with this great 'value for money' aparthotel.

The facilities are superb, especially the dedicated kids water-park which must be paradise for children in the Summer months. It was too cold to enjoy the lovely main pool, but many guests still sunbathed on the comfortable new sun-loungers which were in abundance, so no real need for anyone to reserve with towels as we have experienced at most other hotels. We used the indoor pool which is a little small and if more than three guests wished to swim lengths, it got overcrowded, especially if Spanish children who apparently only come at weekends, resort to 'horse-play' with no supervision from their parents - only criticism that we can make thankfully!

The suites are all very modern and kept clean by the maids who service them 5 days a week. Air-conditioning kept the suite at a comfortable temperature and can be adjusted to suit your preference. The little kitchenette was more than adequate, lounge area had two sofas which acted as two extra beds if needed, there is plenty of wardrobe space, and a modern bathroom.

Although we self-catered, the guests we spoke to who did eat in the restaurant, all said that there was sufficient variety and the food was of good quality. Some guests had booked 'All Inclusive' deals and they sounded happy with what they had available to them in terms of food as well as drinks, also praising the entertainment.

It is located North of the town and about a 5 minute walk from the pretty harbour at Cala Bona which has several restaurants. A further walk of about 20 minutes along the wide promenade, takes you into Cala Millor, where you will find a huge range of restaurants and shops. There is a mini supermarket (BIP) about 200 metres from the complex, a slightly larger Eroski City in CM, just 50 meters West of the Tourist Info Office, and for those who wish to buy a greater range of groceries, a LIDL and Mercadona side by side, a short bus ride away, just South of CM.

In conclusion, this is a superb aparthotel and we can especially recommend it to families with children. Too many reviewers mention the weather which the hotel cannot control, so we keep our comments to what really matters for guests looking for a good holiday environment. We loved the walks into Cala Millor, but beware the dog turds on the pavements!!

Room Tip: There are 5 blocks and we were in the 4th, overlooking the indoor pool, which was quiet. Other guest...

We're are still here and I must say weather has been good. The hotel is lovely and clean staff are great nothing is a problem. Our room is 5114 and it has 2 single bed pushed together (be careful not to fall through) with plenty of wardrobe space and two single sofa in living area. There is a table that seat 4. We are on s/c the kitchen area is small but it has everything you could need. There is a spar shop (bip) about 200 meters away which has most things. But there are plenty of other shops (mainly spar) that will have what your looking for. The only down side is we have come out of season (yes we knew it would be) you have to walk about 15-20 mins to go the cala millor to find a restaurant that is open for your evening meal. Would I come again most definitely but NOT in summer judging by the amount of sunbed this place would be manic and loud (you can actually hear people moving chairs ect from the adjoining rooms ) so not much sound installation. If you won't a nice quite, peaceful holiday come either October (hotel shuts at the end of October) or at the beginning of the season but would recommend you did either all inclusive or half board. The average cost for a meal for three is €50 including drinks (But not many). But once again all staff and reps are very friendly and nothing is a problem. Ooh and free Wi Fi before I forget.

Left the dreary wet UK weather of the winter behind for an early season Thomson week here at the beginning of March. 7 sunny days with temperatures up to 20 Celsius. Great hotel at this time of the year - guess it could get hectic later on. Close to port and local transport. Immaculately clean; the place has been refurnished and refurbished since we were last here 3 years ago and looks superb. Very spacious accommodation for 2 - bedroom and separate living room/kitchenette and balcony. We were on half board- good range for breakfast and superb evening meals of healthy tasty food with masses of choice (unless you want burgers which made no appearance thank goodness). The staff were unendingly cheerful and the place is spotlessly clean. We went for exploration by walking - useful walkers leaflet available at the TIC in Cala Millor- and we had 6 full days of coastal and inland walks accessed on occasion by very reasonable local buses. Great time of year for this type of holiday as temperatures while being very pleasant were not excessively hot. It is definitely pre-season for the resort; most shops and many cafes were shut which suited us fine but would not suit everyone. Excellent travel and transfer arrangements by Thomson - very hassle free.Loads more to do in this area - we will be back.

Well where to start, absolutely fantastic hotel, everywhere was clean especially the rooms maid came in almost every day of our 11 day stay, pool & sun beds lovely, the kids pool was excellent my grandchildren would love it, although we went in march there was still lots of entertainment, magic show, flamenco, comedian, singers & the other evenings there were quizzes & bingo every night, although there was only a handful of kiddies they still had a mini disco, things going on during the day as well, we were self catering so we ate out a few times I can highly recommend the rope & anchor just around the corner, but all the people I spoke to on half board said they could not fault the food in the hotel, we would definitely go back again but perhaps not in the summer as I can imagine it would be really busy, the staff were all really helpful & friendly so were the two Thomson girls.

Extremely pleased with this hotel.
Meals were great
Plenty of salad and usually a couple of fish dishes and meat to choose from, including a live grill where a small selection of things were cooked fresh (Prawns, Fish, chops, grilled veg etc)
The room was good with a balcony.
There was a nice main room/kitchenette with a microwave & fridge, a bathroom/Toilet, and a decent sized bedroom.
There were also 2 sofa beds in the main room.
It was nice to have a modern flat screen TV as we take a USB stick(full of movies), a HDMI cable and a media streamer, so that later on in the evening we can relax in the room and watch a movie.
The staff were all friendly, most of them making the effort to speak to you in English.
Its on the edge of the resort, just enough so its quiet but near enough to go out.
If like us you hire a car there is also plenty of parking outside the hotel.
Oh, it is also disabled friendly, something we always check as we take my wifes father away for a week later in the year and he uses a wheelchair.
All in all we were amazed at what we got for the price we paid.
Mind you, this was early in the season, so what its like main season I do not know.

We booked this hotel as we got a very good last min deal with Thompson so we weren't expecting too much. But when we arrived we were so impressed! We stayed self catering and had our little boy of nine months with us. The room was immaculate, very comfy and modern, it had any utensil you would need for cooking and the cot was a proper wooden cot, not a travel cot, the pools were clean and brilliant for children, Staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have any of their food as we were s/c but the drinks from the bar were good and fairly priced. We rented a car for one day directly from the hotel which was also very cheap and rented bikes from the hotel another day which again was very cheap. The hotel has a lovely soft play area for babies and tots and two kids parks we took the little one everyday and he loved it. Brilliant for walkers or cyclists and scenic, we went out everyday and did something new and we went out of season. The Thompson reps were brill and gave us any info we needed. We have never gone to the same place twice but here we would for our little one. Even the towns Cala Bona & Cala Millor Cater for children (high chairs, parks etc) We ad no faults at all with the place and would recommend to anyone! I would rate it 5*
