Stayed at the Levante the very last week of the season 6th - 13th November. The weather was very warm some days which was a bonus and only 1 day of rain.
The resorts of Cala Bona,Cala Millor and Sa Coma were all very very quiet at this time of year with most bars and restaurants closed for the winter. There are still enough open though if needed and also a few shops remain open this time of year for essentials such as milk and water. Julie’s Sandwich shop in Cala Bona harbour and the café at the top of the headland between Cala Millor and Sa Coma were also still open.
We have previously stayed at the Levante so knew what to expect and we weren’t disappointed. The level of service, the food and the entertainment were the same as at any other time of the year. If you have stayed Thomson Gold before then you will know what I mean. The barbecue evening in the restaurant was my favourite with sausages, burgers, pork, lamb, beef, chicken, turkey as well as other choices. Breakfast was nice as well. Drinks at evening meal are a little expensive but we knew that before we went so it didn’t concern us and there is a happy 2 hours in the bar between 7.30pm and 9.30pm with lager at 2 Euros a pint.
We had a sea view superior room with great views of the small beach and sea. The room was clean and towels and bedding changed regularly. You get a fridge,tv,safe and some fruit and wine on arrival in superior rooms, the wine is an “acquired” taste in our opinion.
Not much else to say apart from we always use Gold hotels for the quietness and child free environment and the friendliness of most other guests. We also find the Thomson reps and entertainers are nice and friendly as well. They do play one game of bingo each evening which some people like and some don’t, we didn’t mind as we only had a go twice and were lucky enough to win once.

Nice hotel which provides well but just does not make a 4 star Thomson Gold in my opinion. l stayed at the Fiesta Cala LLonga in Ibiza a month prior and Levante as a lot to learn. don`t get me wrong it`s ideally situated and very very clean but please opt for a sea view ovelooking Cala Millor or you will have to listen to the Z list entertainment until midnight even if you do not wish to do so. The food on the whole was very good and varied but the drinks including water were well over the top. Waiting on staff seemed surly to me but perhaps they had had enough of miserable whinging Brits because there were many. All in all a pretty good hotel and easy access around the resort 3star

Lovely hotel very comfortable, very clean with excellent staff. Good selection of food not all good but you can always find something. Lots of returning guests who like to compare how long they have been visiting the hotel. Cala Bona is ideal for people with mobility issues as it is a very flat area and carries on throught to other resorts Cala Millor is very similar. The old problem of sunbed reserving is ridiculous at this hotel, we saw people putting towels down on the beds before sunrise. I felt so sorry for some of the entertainers who where trying their best to put on a show, only to see a lot of people going up to bed at 10.15pm (so they could get up early to claim a sunbed I guess) its about time the hotels allocated the sunbeds when they allocate your room with an opportunity to change when others become available (Some hotels in Cyprus run this scheme and it works a treat) There were some younger clients at this hotel but the vast majority are 60+ but this seems to be the downside to Thomson gold, no kids but plenty of pensioners. We enjoyed our break but won't be going back until we are 60+

We have just returned for the hotel levante on the east coast of Majorca, Things about the hotel, All the staff speak English some not so well but they understand it, so why the over 60’s have to dumb down how they speak to them I never know. The only fault we could find with the hotel was some of the other guests, if your under 40 you may find it hard we were lucky their was some two other younger groups. The Oap’s push in during breakfast time and dinner time, they close the lift doors on you because your young and can wait, they are up at 5am!! To get the best sun beds and they say the youth today have no manners. We even had one trying to steal our make up room card :O). I feel sorry for the entertainment team out there, they do a great job and bet they have some laughs about the people. They so want the “Thomson t-shirt” that yes that’s right is 3 sizes to small. But all in all a great hotel and excellent staff. Be warned if you are in any of the front rooms 123-729 you will hear music from next door which is a lot better than face 2 face the hotel group

What a Brilliant Hotel, The food was fantastic so much choice and look out for the pancakes made to order!! The service in all areas dining room, reception etc was first class and our room was very nice and spacious we even had a tv with english channels!!
We paid extra for a sea view which was worth every penny the view was brilliant because the Levante is right on the beach. We would'nt of liked a standard room where the entertainment is every night because I would think the noise would keep you awake if you wanted an early night. The entertainment was very good as well espcially Face to Face the resident duo, Stevie had a fantastic voice and a lovely personality, she was great and the organ player (sorry I can't remember his name) was brilliant as well.
Cala Bona is a fishing village and has a small attractive marina which is very nice at night with plenty of atmosphere.
We found a lovely cafe to get a snack in called MELIS they had appie tart to die for !! If you come out of the hotel turn right and then the first right, they are at the end on the seafront.
So yes all in all a fantastic holiday and we will be returning.
