“Don't go.”
Reviewed 30 September 2011

Due to overbooking at the Hotel we were supposedly booked into we were told we would be staying here for two nights. We had a room which was below ground level, dark and dingy. "The Dungeon." There were only two bedside lights and the shutters and curtains were closed. When we opened them our outside "balcony" was below ground level and the area was covered in bicycles and bits where they were being repaired. There were families standing about waiting for bicycles being prepared for them. We closed the shutters and curtains for some privacy. The outside door from this area was fastened with a small flimsy sliding bolt. The outside area was also overshadowed on three side by the buidings around it and sunlight couldn't penetrate.

We had booked three rooms and none of those we were offered here were suitable or safe for children. The other two were only accessable by two flights of steep narrow steps, one with no handrail and the other too narrow for easy access with suitcases.

We immediately returned to our original Hotel and told them we were refusing to stay there.

After long discussions we had to sleep there for one night and then move.
We would refuse to ever go back to this Hotel under any circumstances and are in the process of making a complaint to Thomas Cooks.

the room was like a cell damp drab and everything smelt stagnant.
it was so cold bitter, in fact no sort of heating our clothes were wet next day
he food was okay, there was plenty of it.if you are french
but we were the only english guests , its a french hotel so we couldnt converse with anyone we later met 4 english guests they to were appalled at the conditions , they had bugs on the wall and water coming through ceiling and light fittings.we have been on many holidays to poor countries , but this was the the poorest all inclusive i have ever seen.
on the plus side the staff were very friendly, andit was pretty clean

Hotel very well located close to two beaches (coves). About 7 km from the village is a beautiful sandy beach (Cala Mondrago). Varied meals, drinks in the option HB - 2 Euro / person for dinner. Cool animators - Polka Eve - a contact and helpful. At the reception easily came to terms in English (mailbox and stamps at the reception). Rooms clean and spacious - very nice newly renovated bathroom (clean and white). We recommend a trip to the capital PALMA - aquarium and the old town - we also see a huge port. With the VALLDEMOSSY PALMS - a town of F. Chopin and G. Sand, beautiful streets and historic houses. It should also see the village of Deia (corner of artists), further north Mandatory Torrent de Pareis - the most spectacular place on the island. Subsequently CAP visit Formentor (cliffs), the Old Town in Alcudia, PORTOCRISTO - fishing port from the thirteenth century, and the dragon caves wspamniałe - CAVES DEL DARC (the concert on the water makes a great impression) ... Mallorca has made a great impression on us. Spectacular views, palm trees, oranges (must try the freshly squeezed juice), turquoise water of flowing sand beaches. I highly recommend

It was last minute deal and a fast decision to choose this hotel for our holiday in Majorka.
Hotel area is pleasant. It gave an impression of holiday village. With rooms it is not that great. Depending on how lucky you are, you can get "acceptable" room or damp and dark accommodation. At check in we ended up with the second option and try hard to change it.
We managed to change the room after two days.. Staff was helpful I must say.
The food was ok, big choice although the quality is typical for the hotels.
If you look for a family hotel then it's ok, but no frills.

We had to stay in this hotel for one night as ours was over booked. It is not fit for a dog to stay in never mind people. The first room they gave us was like a prison cell and the smell was disgusting. When we refused to stay in that one they gave us another which was a bit better. There were windows which we were able to open which helped with the smell. When we looked around people were quite happy to be there which makes me wonder what they have a home or were they trying to make the best of a bad job. Having stayed in this hotel for one night I would never in a million years go there on holiday. I work too hard and have a nice home - why would I want to stay in a place like that and pay for the privilage. I can't comment on the food as we ate and drank in the hotel that we were booked in. The entertainment seemed to be aimed at the children and it was usually in French. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy never mind a friend.

The whole complex is a little tired, bordering on shabby.
On returning from a visit to CalaD'Or during a very heavy rain storm we found the room flooded from leaking windows and cracks in the ceiling. The bedcover had soaked up a lot of water ant all our clothes in the wardrobe were soaked thru'.
On the plus side the food was quite good !
