I stayed at this hotel the first week of July. The hotel was plenty of people from different nationalities but I did not have problems to comunicate because employees help me to translate, specially animation guys. Every night, my family and I enjoyed different activities and shows at the hotel. It was great! I recomend this hotel to everyone who wants to relax at the beach and at the same time have fun at the hotel in family!

I have been in this hotel in the middle of August. The weather was brilliant, not even one cloud.
The hotel consists of 11 blocks not bigger then 2 floors. I had a first floor, which was fine for me.
The rooms are really simple, I noticed one day that i was missing a little bit of light in the night. But normally it's ok for 3 tars hotel.
The cleaning servise adorable. As I spoke a little bit spanish i had funny conversation with the stuff.
Restaurant service niceeeeee. The food lovely. I thought it will be crap as the coments below... but no!!!! It was really nice. Everyday something different! I loved it! Cheese was sooo goood!
Entertainment was really good. It was french and italian team as the hotel was mainly directed to french and italian clients. But there was one polish girl which tried her best to translate everything in to english and polish. There were activities all day long. In the night there was always a show. I have never seen such good shows in other hotels.
This is a big advantage. If someone want to spend holidays only relaxing, entertainment team will make it even more exciting.
Recepcion was nice. The team was really helpful.
Thank you for that lovely holidays!
I highly recommend for young people and those who just want to relax!

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are the same i heard, i got one on the right side and i loved it! Nice balcony!

Just got back from a week staying here on an AI basis. I was a little worried, as some other reviews were a little sketchy. On arrival at 5.30am we were greeted by the reception in a manner that I have recieved at , so called, better establishments. We were shown to our room with no fuss and no bother. The room was fine, not 5 star, but more than accepable as we had come for a week in the sun. In the morning we found the food for breakfast, indeed all meals, was fine. If you are looking for the standard British fayre you should stay in Britain. There was enpugh variety and it was well presented. The staff in the dining area we BRILLIANT as were all the team in the hotel. The room was cleaned everyday and we had 3 changes of towel and 1 change of sheets in the week. The entertainment team have had a lot of stick from some reviews but this is more than unfair. The worked 7 days a week from 8 in the morning to midnight. OK, they were not english and neither were the evening shows. Les Miserables is not English and neither are most of the operas I have been to and I enjoyed the show and spectacle they put on just as much. The staging was as good as you might get in provincial theatre. They were around all day ensuring everyone had a great time.

Please give this place more credit than some seem to do. If you want to have a great time in the sun for a great price, give this place a try. If you want Butlins, there is one in Bognor

It was an incredible week at the hotel!! Mallorca is just incredible and the hotel very nice and well located. From there you have all the eastside coast of the island very easy to reach wich is full of impresive beaches and other spots. After a entire day at the beach we enjoyed very much their huge swimming pool and also the restaurant was perfect ;-)). That´s really a lovely place!
Already waiting to come back next year!! Thanks!

Good: Very good value for money. LOTS of food of an excellent quality - mussels, beef etcetera. Two big pools and one children's pool. Beautiful little beach 100 meters from the hotel. Brilliant management dedicated to make the customers happy. Kind staff. Cala Egos is a very nice area with multiple restaurants and shops yet not as busy as Cala D'or. A good choice for families with smaller children.
Could be better: It would be nice with a couple of evenings with a more quiet entertainment. Depending on which room you are in it can be difficult to sleep until after midnight. The children's club seems to be well organised but if you are not French or Italian its difficult to join in.

Me and my wife we stay in this hotel from the 31/7/12 to 9/7/12 .we got there about 11pm and the first thing l wanted was a drink but the allclusive for a drink had stopped so l would have to pay for drink so if you wanted a drink after 11pm you have to pay.We stayed in room 1041 for two night and it was on the main road and there was a bar across the road which was open to 4pm and it was noise so we had to be moved so please don't stay in room 1041 if your are english. The pool was very clean and the food was ok too. The cala egos beach is about 2mins around the corner and it is a clean beach and your can get on a boat trip there too .The entertainment was poor because you have to speak french also the games in the day too But there is a hotel across road which the entertainment is better because they speak english.and no l would not go back too this hotel but the area is very nice with plenty of shops and restaurants and there is a market on thursday too in the evening.

we just came back from a 2 week stay at the Palia Dolce Farniente hotel. the hotel was nice with large room and large balcony. the pools were excellent and the beach was just 5 mins away. we booked this holiday through teletex and were told that the kids club was excellent which it was if you were french! the hotel staff are mainly french and all the day/night entertainment was in french and i would say 95% of the guests were french. Also there is no air con available even though they say there is, i would recommend this hotel if you were french. thanks for looking Andy (Scotland)

Room Tip: 2nd or third level best for sun
