The park is just about average the walking trails have a nice view of the coast. Stunning beach around and that's a must visit. The car park is a good ten minute walk from where you begin your walk and costs euro 5. There are two beaches each a two minute walk away from each other both are lovely. The restaurants on the beach are highly over priced probably the same you would pay in Geneva.

Mondrago natural park is an area near Santanyi on the south east coast of the island . An expanse of pines and scrubland leading eventually down to the beach ....and what a beach . Beautiful, almost white sand and shallow clear blue water. Well worth finding.

Paths around the coast are relatively good but sometimes do not go all the way round. Signs exist for some walking routes but are in Spanish, although they dont have much detail anyway. Its easy to get lost, but just get your bearings by where the sea/coast is. Plenty of animal/bird life if you look closely.

We parked in the car park at the top which cost 5 Euros for the day (this goes to charity) To get to the beach it took us no longer than ten minutes. There is another car park further down but this is small with no guarantee of a space. The beach is stunning surrounded by pine trees with crystal clear shallow water. There are several signposted walks through the forests with maps dotted around. There are public toilets and two restaurants and a little shop.
This beach is so lovely and well worth a trip.
