Where do I start.. upon arrival we checked in payed the tourist tax passports etc, then were told we couldn’t have our room until after 2pm and to go and have lunch and return later on. We arrived around 11:30ish. We weren’t told where anything was the receptionist just pointed to the left. It was actually situated on the basement floor.
There are two lifts for the whole hotel we have a 9 month old baby in a pushchair I think we used the lift twice in the whole week!! Bear in mind it’s not just one flight as the pool and restaurant is on basement level. So carrying a buggy and towels etc up 8 flights of stairs was a big pain!! The lifts hardly stop in between floors and when they do they are jam packed. Not only that there’s the problem to get to either pool area you need to either walk up or down steps!

The food.... salad and chips every day, usually pasta and tomato sauce was daily seen some fish fingers and mixed veg around too. The week we stayed there seemed to be a large number of guests falling ill ME being one of them... spent day 2 & 3 in bed morning to night! I refused to eat at the restaurant for the remainder of he holiday which obviously cost us as we had to eat out elsewhere. Seen the doctor back and forth a few times during our stay too.

The entertainment was non existent mini disco was around 8:30, then bingo and main show around 10pm. Didn’t actually see any of the main shows so can’t comment on the quality of them. Bar is open until 12 so don’t expect an early night we had children running through our corridor shouting and screaming sometimes up until 1am...

We had a late flight home so asked to have a later check out... was not approved... we had to be out by 12 and the cleaners came in at 9 and again at half 10 asking us to leave to clean the room!! we had to leave luggage in a cupboard and stay out all day as we weren’t eating at the restaurant.
Partner was not able to sleep at all considering we had a long journey home from the airport later than night and obviously he needed to be able to drive, not very good facility for Baby changing either. The basement toilets were constantly flooding and smelling of sewerage.

The ‘town centre’ is about 20 mins walk mostly the same types of gift shops few clothes shops and bars. The new inn has bogof on drinks and the food isn’t too bad. It has a mini golf course with goats sheep and ducks/turkeys which you can feed too.

I have been to calas de Mallorca 4 times this was my first stay at canarious Park and I will definitely not be returning.

Having stayed at the Canarios park Hotel for the second time in 12 months it was as enjoyable as the first time, very hard working and very courteous staff , a beautiful location for a lovely hotel, we would'nt hesitate in a return visit , which we intend to do next year.

Room Tip: small but adequate rooms , look for a pool view, you get the best scenic views from that side of the Hotel.

This was a very family orientated hotel. It would have been nice if one of the pools had been adult only. Very clean. Food basic but good. Transfer from airport took over 2 hours so not good if you are travelling with kids

Was going to leave 3 stars, but as the stomach hit me on the way home now reduced to 2 stars.

I took my 16 year old daughter here for some post gcse relaxing time.

The staff on arrival were lovely and although we arrived at midday, the room was ready for us. Comfortable room, aircon worked brilliantly.

It was obvious from arrival though that this wasnt going to be a quiet relaxing holiday. Lots of young children running riot and parents not watching them at all. We spent most of the days we were there down at cala antena beach. This was lovely and secluded and much quieter than the hotel.

The food was ok. A bit repetitive and catered for english clientele. Would have preferred a few more local options. Started to hear rumours of food poisoning/viruses which made us more wary of the restaurant food. Particularly as it is help yourself and you never sure who has put fingers in stuff.

All in all not a bad hotel if you have young noisy kids but not for us.
